College Football No. 8 Baylor vs. Buffalo Week 3 Picks & Predictions

BUFFALO, NY (The Spread) – No. 8 Baylor hopes quarterback Bryce Petty will be healthy enough to return tonight when it visits unranked Buffalo at 8:00PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, Baylor is a 32-point favorite over host Buffalo while the over/under total is currently sitting at 69.5 points. The Bears opened as 27-point favorites before the line was bet up, while the total opened at 70 before dropping down to 69.5.
Baylor easily disposed of I-AA opponent Northwestern State in a 70-6 victory as a 47-point home favorite last week. The combined score went just over the posted total of 76 points as backup quarterback Seth Russell complete 16-of-25 passes for 438 yards and five touchdowns to zero interceptions. Russell also added a score on the ground as four different Bears scored rushing touchdowns in the victory.
Buffalo fell to Army 47-39 as a 3-point road underdog last week, while the combined score sailed over the posted total of 52 points. Quarterback Joe Licata threw for 401 yards on 35-of-50 passing with five touchdowns but also threw three interceptions in the loss. Marcus McGill led the Bulls with seven catches for 128 yards and two TDs.
