Louisville Cardinals Over 9

Every media outlet and supposedly football expert has the ACC won by either Florida State or Clemson, but don't forget about the Cardinals of Louisville. Louisville last year went 8-5, and this year they are more experienced and their bowl win against Texas A&M should bring great momentum for the start of the season. They will be 2-0 heading into their home game against Florida State, and even if they lose that game I still have them getting to 9 wins maybe even 10. If they beat Florida State then they should have no problem getting double-digit wins. I see the Louisville Cardinals either going 9-3 and we push or 10-2 and we cash big.

Nebraska Under 8.5

Last year the Cornhuskers were only 3-5 in conference play, and I know this team is improved, but this Cornhusker team really looks like an eight-win team. The lost 5 games last year in the final seconds, and this year their road schedule is killer, going to Northwestern, Indiana, Wisconsin, Ohio St, and ending the season at Iowa. They could easily go 1-4 in their road games, and when I did my power rankings I only had them going 7-5 and best 8-4. No way this Cornhuskers team goes 9-3 with their road schedule. Take the UNDER with plus money as I see this Nebraska team staying under the total season wins.

Michigan Over 10 -115

The Michigan Wolverines will look to improve on a 9-3 regular season and a Citrus Bowl win last year when they take the field here in 2016 in what will be the second year under Head Coach Jim Harbaugh. They come into the season ranked No. 7 in the AP Top 25 poll, and while at first glance playing 'over' 10 in a twelve-game schedule isn't something we would normally do, the Wolverines have one of the easiest schedules in the country for any team in a Power 5 Conference. They get arguably the worst three teams in their respective conferences in Hawaii. Central Florida and Colorado in their three nonconference games, and the rest of their Big Ten slate sets up very favorably for them. Their first road game doesn't come until Oct. 8 at Rutgers (another worst team in a conference), and they get games with Penn St. and Wisconsin at home in the weeks leading up to that road game. The also get to face rebuilding programs in Illinois and Maryland at home, and they should have no problem beating Indiana at home on November 19. If they win all those games, that puts them at nine wins with road games at Michigan St, Iowa and Ohio St as their three other games on the schedule. Iowa's record last season was better than the team actually was, and in looking at both MSU and Ohio St., those teams lost a ton on both sides of the ball. If they win one of these three games, we have push, but we're pretty high on the Wolverines and we think there is a good shot they go into their final game in Columbus with a perfect 11-0 record. The offense will be good enough to put points on the board and their defense will have multiple All-Americans when it's all said and done. The Wolverines are a real National Championship contender here in 2016.

UNLV Over 5 -145

This is actually hard for me to type right now! It's no secret that I have faded the UNLV Football program for years, so this is not a typo. UNLV went 3-9 last year, but this year will be a totally different team and head coach Tony Sanchez has this program heading in the right direction. UNLV will start off the year with a 'W' against Jackson St, and I see them grabbing their 5th win against Wyoming Nov. 12. I actually have the UNLV Rebels going 6-6 this season, and if they play well on the road against Central Michigan and Hawaii this Rebels team can actually have a 7-5 record and go bowling. Should be a fun season for the UNLV Football program, and this program is heading in the right direction.
