College Football Washington vs. Oregon Week 8 Picks & Predictions

EUGENE, OR (The Spread) - Washington has had a difficult time covering the spread versus Oregon and the two teams will square off tonight at 8:00PM ET.
ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, Oregon is a 20.5-point favorite over Washington while the over/under total is currently sitting at 65 points. As of this writing, 55% of public bettors currently favor the Huskies plus the points.
LINE MOVEMENT: The Huskies opened as 19-point road underdogs but the spread has jumped up to 20.5 at most online and Vegas sports books, while the total opened at 66.5 and has dropped to 65.
SEASON RECORDS: The Huskies enter play with a 5-1 record and are 3-3 against the spread, while the Ducks are also 5-1 but they're just 2-4 at the betting window. While the under is 5-1 in Washington's six games this season, it's 3-2-1 in Oregon's six contests in 2014.
NCAA FREE PICK: Take Oregon. According to latest college football trends, the favorite is 13-3-1 against the spread in the last 17 games between these two teams while the Huskies are just 1-9-1 ATS in their last 11 games versus the Ducks and 0-5-1 ATS in their last six games in Oregon. The Ducks, meanwhile, are 16-5 against the number in their last 21 games after accumulating more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game, 10-4 ATS in their last 14 games following an ATS win and 34-16-1 ATS in their last 51 games in October.
