EUGENE, OR (The Spread) – Fresh off its impressive victory over Michigan State, No. 2 Oregon will look to avoid a letdown when it hosts Wyoming at 2:00PM ET today.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Oregon is a massive 43-point favorite over Wyoming for today's contest, while the total is currently sitting at 64.5 points. The Ducks opened as 43-point favorites and that number hasn't moved, while the total opened at 67 and has been bet down.
Wyoming beat Air Force 17-13 while covering as a 1-point home underdog last week. The combined score fell well under the posted total of 51 points as quarterback Colby Kirkegaard completed 23-of-37 passes for 282 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions. Receiver Dominic Rufran also added six catches for 119 yards in the win.
In what was supposed to be a close game throughout, Oregon wound up routing Michigan State 46-27 as a 14-point favorite last Saturday in Eugene. The Ducks scored the final 28 points in the game to pull away as Marcus Mariota threw for 318 yards and three touchdowns. Royce Freeman also rushed for 89 yards on 13 carries and two touchdowns while Devon Allen caught three passes for 110 yards and two scores.
