Over the last few years I've been following picks gathered from NFL analysts public picks. These are straight up picks....the ones you see all over the place (USA today, ESPN, etc). Basically, I look for games that have about 80% of the picks on one side and take the opposite team if at least 2 or more analysts are on that team.
Anyway its been good for me in the past, although the first few weeks of the season are tough as the records of the analysts start with a clean slate.
Here are this weeks pick...I use ML for all these bets
Indy
San Fran
Balt
Possible:Jets (only one analyst took the Jets)

Just a note: there are about 105 analysts in this years "contest".
I use only the analysts in the top 20% of the win column. There has to be at least 2 of those in the top 20% picking the dog.
For the first week or so I use last years standing for the picks.
For that reason I have to scratch the Jets for this week.
