ESPN College Football Week 6 Prediction: Indiana vs. Ohio State
By Anthony Rome

Ohio State will host Indiana in its second Big Ten game of the year. Read on to check out our prediction for this Week 6 matchup.

Bet Indiana vs. Ohio State

Before we make a prediction, let’s check out the current point spread and odds.

Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made Ohio State 22.5-point favorites over Indiana in Week 6. The over/under total for this game has been set at 57.5 points.

Both of these teams have been good against the spread this year. The Buckeyes have covered in four of their first five weeks (the first time they failed to cover the spread came last week at Illinois), while the Hoosiers have covered in three of their first four games.

Indiana is 1-0 on the road this year, while Ohio State is already 4-0 at home. The Buckeyes are also 4-0 against the spread at home, covering some huge point spreads against some highly inferior teams (save for Miami, of course). The Buckeyes are allowing just 14.5 points per game while scoring 49.2, while the Hoosiers are allowing 21 PPG and are averaging 38 PPG offensively.

The Prediction:

The favorite in this contest is 5-0 against the spread in the last five meetings between these two teams, while Indiana is 0-5 against the number in the last five meetings. Ohio State has rolled at home this year and while Indiana was impressive last week against Michigan, the Hoosiers will find life a little tougher this week against a top 5 defense in the Buckeyes. As long as quarterback Terrelle Pryor stays healthy (he left last week’s game with a hamstring injury before finally returning), my prediction is that Ohio State will roll.
