A Fox spokesman apologized for an on-air mistake during the network's NFL coverage Sunday, the St. Paul Pioneer Press reported.
After Sunday's game a Fox camera showed Minnesota Vikings tight end Visanthe Shiancoe with a towel only partially covering him in the team's locker room after Minnesota's 20-16 victory over Detroit.
The camera was trying to show Vikings owner Zygi Wilf giving the game ball to the team's coach, Brad Childress, when the partially exposed Shiancoe got into the shot.
"It was an obvious oversight on our part, and we apologize," Dan Bell, the vice president of communications for Fox, told the Pioneer Press.
The Vikings defeated the Lions to improve to 8-5 on the season and remain atop the NFC North. With the loss, Detroit fell to 0-13.
