Another winning day yesterday with my free picks.
Celta Vigo is very good at home, they are unbeaten in their last 15 home games and have held both Barcelona and Real Madrid to 2-2 draws and beaten Atletico Madrid but they have drawn their last two home games against much lesser opposition and are now on a five-game winless streak.
Alaves beat Real Madrid in their last game and have won two of their last three away games, though in all fairness their overall away record is poor but they are in decent current form losing just the once in their last seven league games.
Both teams have a lot going for them right now and the value pick is the draw at good odds.

I expect the Milwaukee Brewers to get the job done as home underdogs here Friday night and extend this series to a 7th game. They have lost the last two in Los Angeles, and now they return home showing great value tonight.
Wade Miley has dominated the Dodgers in 2018. He is 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA while pitching 18 2/3 shutout innings against them across four starts this year. And he has only allowed 13 base runners in those 18 2/3 innings as well.
Miley is also 5-2 with a 2.27 ERA and 1.154 WHIP in 19 starts this season, including 2-0 with a. 2.25 ERA and 1.194 WHIP in eight home starts. He has clearly been one of the most underrated starters in baseball this year. And he has arguably the best bullpen in the league backing him up.
The Brewers are 8-0 in their last eight games following an off day. Milwaukee is 8-2 in Miley’s last 10 starts. The Dodgers are 2-11 in Ryu’s last 13 road starts vs. a team with a winning record. Ryu has been much worse on the road than he’s been at home this season, and over the last few seasons. Bet the Brewers Friday.

Man, not sure I get the number on this Colorado State-Boise State game this Friday night!??!?!
On one hand, the Broncos have totally controlled this series. They have won ALL 7 Mountain West meetings and have covered in 5 of those 7 victories.
That's fine and dandy, but when you consider Bryan Harsin's team has failed their last pair of games in the favored role, and 3 of their last 4 overall when favored. There is also the fact the Broncos are 4-15-1 as the home favorite dating back to the 2015 season. Oh, and how about the fact the Rams have covered in 2 of their last 3 visits to the blue carpet with the road team covering the last 3, and in 6 of the 7 overall meetings.
Last year the Rams tasted bitter defeat in Fort Collins, as they led the Broncos 52-38 with under 3 minutes to go, but Boise State was able to score twice, and then again in overtime for the 59-52 road win and cover! Mike Bobo's team was upperclass-laden then, and they are a much younger team this year which partially explains losses in 4 of their first 5, but Colorado State has been able to post wins their last 2 times out, including a last seconds field goal that saw them get by New Mexico, 20-18 last weekend.
With Boise State having trouble getting their offense cranking, why not look for the overwhelming trends that support the Rams to come through one more time? I mean, this is 3 full scores we are talking about.

New era Raptors with their new head coach, and their newest addition got the season off with an "exorcise the devil" double-digit win over their nemesis - the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday. Oh sure, the Cavs are now without LeBron James, but it had to feel good for Toronto and their fans dumping the team that has owned them the past few seasons.
Now a bigger home test looms, as this Boston team has to be the de-facto favorite to claim the title "Best of the East" come the season's end.
The Celtics are now back at full strength with Irving and Hayward back in the lineup, and they toyed with a pretty damn good Philadelphia team on Tuesday night at home.

The Key: The betting public wants nothing to do with the Cavs without Lebron James. I think we see some inflated numbers early and there will be some value backing the Cavs for a few weeks to open the NBA season because of it. The Cavs still have some nice chemistry with Tyronn Lue entering his 4th year, and still plenty of talent with Kevin Love now the focal point. The Cavs covered as 13-point underdogs at the Raptors in their opener. And now they’re catching 8.5 points on the road to the Timberwolves tonight. This is a Minnesota team that lacks chemistry right now thanks to the Jimmy Butler trade demand. And they lost their opener to the Spurs. I don’t think they should be laying this many points to anyone right now. Take Cleveland.

The first game of this series went way over the total when the Dodgers won 6-5 in Chavez Ravine back on October 12. We've seen four straight low-scoring contest since (three unders and a push), and I think that's a trend likely to continue in this must-win game for the Brewers with the Dodgers owning a 3-1 lead in the series.
Milwaukee hands the ball to left-hander Wade Miley (0-0, 0.00 ERA) who has yet to allow a run in the postseason. He'll make a second straight start but faced only one batter as a starter in Game 5 before getting replaced by right-hander Brandon Woodruff to counter the Dodgers' righty-heavy lineup. Miley dominated the Dodgers in the regular season, allowing only six hits and no earned runs through 13 innings of work. The Dodgers turn to left-hander Hyun-Jin Ryu (1-0, 1.59 ERA) who tossed seven shutout innings against the Braves in Game 1 of the NLDS and gave up two runs in 4 1/3 frames in Game 2 of this series.
Trends supporting the under: Under is 6-1 in Ryus last seven starts vs. a team with a winning record. Under is 5-2 in Dodgers' last seven League Championship road games.

This one is worth a flyer here.
It starts with the Rams, who have been atrocious on defense. Colorado State has allowed 35.1 points per game and have simply been a mess in the secondary.
Offensively, they do help this total as they can produce some big plays. Look for them to take their fair share of shots down field as they know they have to almost turn this one into a shootout with their defense.
Boise State is going to make this one a nightmare for the Rams defense. Averaging over 36 points per game, Boise State has been explosive both on the ground and through the air.
Some trends to note. Over is 5-2 in the last 7 meetings.
Expect a lot of scoring chances here.
