I'll take my chances here with Detroit at home against the Knicks. I could see some being tempted to grab the points here with New York, who have won 3 straight outright as a dog of 8 or more points and have covered 4 straight overall. I think a lot of that is the Knicks taking advantage of teams not giving them their full attention. The last 22 times New York has played a road game off back-to-back covers they have failed to cover the number 17 times, losing on average by 12 ppg. This is the Knicks 5th game in the last 8 days and they have had to travel either home or to another stadium for every game during this stretch (haven't played two straight at home the entire month of November). Detroit has won 6 of their last 8 and are 7-1 ATS during this run. They should be fresh playing their 3rd straight at home and are 16-5 ATS in their last 21 home games when playing 6 or less games in 14 days, winning by 8.5 ppg. Give me the Pistons -7!

Tuesday's comp play is the Pistons minus the points over the Knicks.
Break up the Knicks! Winners of their last 3 both straight up and against the spread, look for New York to see their recent uptick come to a halt tonight in the Motor City against the Detroit Pistons.
Detroit has been playing some solid hoops as we enter play tonight, as the Pistons have won their last pair of games, and have won 4 of their last 5 overall, and they have covered in ALL 5 of those contests.
Dwane Casey's team is also 6-3 straight up at home for the year. Detroit has had the upper-hand in recent meetings, as they have taken each of the last 3 series meetings, and 5 of the last 7 overall in the series. They did cover in 2 of the 3 meetings just a season ago.
Detroit has done a good job at handling their business when facing teams with a losing record, as they have covered each of the last 4 when playing a team below .500.
As well as the Knickerbockers have been playing of late, it will be hard tonight for them to match up with Andre Drummond and Blake Griffin in the front court for the full 4 quarters.
Look for the Pistons to pull away by the time this game hears the final horn.

Tuesday's comp play will be the points and the Lakers in their game at Denver against the Nuggets.
L.A. just lost at home to Orlando their last time out, but the Lakers had won their previous 3 prior to that home setback to the Magic, and they are still on a 7-2 straight up run their last 9 games overall.
Denver has shaken off a little "lull" - had lost 6 of 7 - as the Nuggets are riding a 3 game win and cover streak as they get set to play host to the Lake Show here on Tuesday.
This is the second meeting of the year between the West rivals, Los Angeles winning the first one, 121-114 at home on October 25th.
The Nuggets have been playing solid defense lately, but the Lakers have stepped things up on the offensive end, as they have climbed to # 7 in the league with an average of 114-plus points per game. Of course anytime you have LeBron James in the lineup, you know there will be points scored.
This one will be close tonight is my call, so getting +4 points is something I am very interested in this Tuesday.

They lost their starting goalie to injury, but Coach Cooper's team has not missed a beat, as Tampa comes into this game with a 3 game win streak, and wins in 5 of their last 6 games overall.
The Lightning have been able to put the puck in the net on a regular basis, as they have scored 16 goals in their last 3 wins, and 26 total in their 5 wins in the 6 game stretch I just mentioned.
The Ducks enter on a 2-4 slide, and they were just hammered in their last game at Nashville, 5-2 on Sunday night.
First meeting of the year between the teams, and Tampa Bay is 6-2 the last 8 series meetings over Anaheim.
Right now the Lightning offense is clicking, so until someone shuts them down, I say play them on the Puck Line each time out.
