NBA | Wolves vs Raptors
Play on: OVER 226 -110

1* Free Pick on Wolves/Raptors OVER 226

The OVER has cashed in all 4 of the Raptors games so far this season and I see no reason for that streak to not continue Wednesday night against the Timberwolves. Toronto has had zero problem incorporating Kawhi Leonard into the offense. The Raptors have the third best offensive efficiency rating, averaging 114.2 points/possession.

They have score at least 113 points in each of their 4 games and should have no problem reaching that mark at home against a Timberwolves team that is giving up 116.5 ppg overall and 126 ppg on the road.

Minnesota saw the OVER cash in each of their first 3 games, but are off an UNDER at home against the Pacers, where both teams couldn't buy a basket. The Timberwolves shot just 42.4% from he field and Indiana was a dreadful 39.6%.

OVER is 21-9 in the Raptors last 30 home games after scoring 115 or more points in their previous game and 23-12 in Minnesota's last 35 as an underdog. Take the OVER!

NBA | Knicks vs Heat
Play on: Knicks +8 -102 at 5Dimes

1 Unit FREE PLAY on New York Knicks +8

The New York Knicks have been more competitive to open the season than most expected. That’s evident in that they are 4-0 ATS this season. They opened the season with a 19-point home win over the Hawks. They only lost by 2 as 4-point dogs at Brooklyn and by 2 as 9.5-point home dogs to Boston. They were tied with just a few minutes left against the Bucks but lost by 11 as 11.5-point road dogs. So they are 4-0 ATS and now catching 8 points here against a banged-up Miami Heat squad that shouldn’t be this big of a favorite right now. The Heat have already lost to both the Magic and Hornets, and their only win came by a single point against the Wizards. James Johnson and Dion Waiters are out, Wayne Ellington and Justise Winslow are both questionable, and Hassan Whiteside is battling a groin injury but listed as probable. Give me the Knicks.

MLB | Dodgers vs Red Sox
Play on: Red Sox -135 at betonline

Jack’s Free Pick Wednesday: Boston Red Sox -135

The Boston Red Sox have now won five straight postseason games with all five coming by multiple runs. It’s safe to say they are feeling good about themselves right now and on a mission. And it’s clear they have a big advantage at the plate over the Dodgers in this series.

The Red Sox have scored 7 or more runs in four of their last five victories. The Dodgers haven’t scored more than 5 runs in any of their last eight games. And the Red Sox certainly have the advantage on the mound tonight.

David Price tossed 6 shutout innings with 9 strikeouts in the clinching 4-1 win at Houston last series to shake off the postseason demons. He is 9-3 with a 3.41 ERA and 1.146 WHIP in 18 home starts this year. He has posted a 2.25 ERA in two career starts against the Dodgers.

Hyun-Jin Ryu is coming off one of his worst starts of the season. He allowed 5 runs and 9 base runners in 3 innings of a 2-7 loss to the Brewers in Game 6. He is 2-2 with a 4.63 ERA and 1.400 WHIP in eight road starts this season. Ryu has posted a 7.20 ERA in one career start against Boston.

Boston is 9-0 vs. an NL starting pitcher whose WHIP is 1.150 or better over the last two seasons. The Dodgers are 2-12 in Ryu’s last 14 road starts vs. a team with a winning record. The Red Sox are 21-6 in Price’s last 27 home starts. Boston is 41-11 in its last 52 interleague games. Bet the Red Sox Wednesday.

MLB | LAD vs BOS
Play on: OVER 8½ -105

10* FREE MLB PICK (Over 8.5)

I'll take my chances here with the OVER 8.5 in Game 2 of the World Series. These two teams combined for 12 runs in Game 1 and that was with both teams sending out their aces, with Clayton Kershaw going for the Dodgers and Chris Sale taking the mound for Boston. These offenses are just too strong and I expect the offense to be the story in Game 2. LA will turn to Hyun-Jin Ryu, who wasn't great in his two starts against the Brewers, both of which came on the road. Ryu allowed 7 runs on 13 hits in 7 1/3 innings of work. He's just not the same guy on the road as he is at home. Boston will counter with David Price, who is coming off a strong start at Houston, but in his previous two postseason starts, both at home, he allowed 7 runs on 8 hits (3 HRs) in just 6 1/3 innings of work. Give me the OVER 8.5!

LA Lakers @ Phoenix 10:05 PM EST
Play On: LA Lakers -4 -115

The Los Angeles Lakers travel to Phoenix to take on the Suns on Wednesday night. LA Lakers have started the season at 0-3 SU overall this year while Phoenix is 1-2 SU overall this season. LA Lakers are 138-97 ATS last 235 games after 3 or more consecutive overs. Phoenix is 2-11 ATS last 3 years when the total is 230 or higher. LA Lakers are scoring 125.3 points per game overall this year and 119 points per game on the road this season. Phoenix is allowing 114 points per game overall this year and 123 points per game against division opponents. LA Lakers are 3-1 SU and ATS at Phoenix past 3 years. No way Lebron allows this team to start the season at 0-4 SU. We'll recommend a small play on the LA Lakers tonight! Thanks and good luck, Rocky

NBA | Lakers vs Suns
Play on: Lakers -3½ -108 at pinnacle

My free play is on the LA Lakers at 10:05 ET.

The Lakers not only added LeBron James to the mix over the summer but Rajon Rondo, JaVale McGee and Lance Stephenson also 'moving in,' expectations in the City of Angels wre running high. However, The King James Era is off to a 0-3 start. "I know what I got myself into," LBJ said. That noted, it's clear he is expecting some victories to soon be part of the equation. "We're going to continue to get better," Phoenix won its season-opener but has dropped back-to-back contests and enters 1-2. The Suns had the NBA's worst record last season (21-61) and got the draft's No. 1 pick, Arizona's 7-1 Deandre Ayton. He had 20 points and 14 rebounds in Monday's 123-103 loss to the Golden State Warriors. "Every game I play I learn from it," Ayton told reporters. "This game I learned about how fast we can move. Those guys are grown men and they were running faster than us. We've just got to keep up our energy and not come out slow and really lock in on defense."

James recorded 32 points, 14 assists and eight rebounds in the loss to San Antonio and is averaging 27.3-8.3-8.3 after three games. He leads SEVEN Lakers averaging in double digits, including Kuzma (21.0 & 5.0) and Hart, who comes off the bench to average 17.0 & 6.3 (he's making 53.8% from the floor, including 47.1% on threes). LBJ will have to start shooting better from long-range, as he is just 3-of-19 from 3-point range after missing the game's last shot vs the Spurs. So far, the Lakers have shot 73 free throws to their opponents' 97, and coach Luke Walton questioned the foul discrepancy after the Spurs shot 38 and the Lakers shot 26 on Monday. However, the answer just may be that LA has to become more aggressive in taking the ball to the basket.

The Suns have to be thrilled by Ayton's start. The rookie center is averaging 14.3 points, 10.7 rebounds and four assists. Ayton and Philadelphia's Ben Simmons are the only players in the draft lottery era with two 10/10/5 games in their first three career games. As expected, Booker is delivering once again, leading the team in scoring (29.3) and assists (6.7). Small forward TJ Warren is serving in a reserve role after the off-season additions of Ryan Anderson and Trevor Ariza. He played the part well in the loss to Golden State by scoring 27 points on 12-of-17 shooting in 24 minutes. The fifth-year pro accepted the challenge of being sixth man and has been a 'spark plug,' averaging 20.0 PPG (he averaged 19.7 last year as a starter).

Yes, the Lakers will play their second straight game without starters Brandon Ingram and Rajon Rondo, who were suspended after an altercation late in a 124-115 loss to Houston in the home opener Saturday. Ingram was suspended four games for escalating the fight and Rondo was suspended for three games after throwing a punch at Rockets guard Chris Paul. However, this seems like the perfect spot for LA to get win No. 1 of the LBJ Era. The Lakers went 3-1 against the Suns last season and I'm "all over" LBJ and Co. in this one.

Good luck...Larry

NBA | Wizards vs Warriors
Play on: OVER 234 -126

#NBA FREE PICK OCT 24 ~ ALL FREE PICKS 15-8 SINCE SEPTEMBER 1!

The Golden State Warriors host the Washington Wizards at Oracle Arena Wednesday night. The bookmakers have hung a rather high total for this contest, but I still think we'll see the total score sail over the number by at least a couple of buckets.

Washington is coming off a 125-124 win at Portland and was 15-for-37 from 3-point range. Wizards' guard Bradley Beal liked what he saw, noting, "I think that's the best basketball we played, obviously all year ... It's fun. Everybody touched it. Everybody was involved and everything was clicking on both ends."

Wizards coach Scott Brooks agreed. "The way this league is going, if you don't score 120 points, you have no chance to win. You gotta score points in this league." That will almost surely be the case here as they'll face a Warriors team which led the NBA in scoring as they claimed a second consecutive championship last season.

Free pick on OVER.

My Wednesday comp play is the Hawks over the Mavericks.

It's a new season, and the Hawks have gone through a monster "house-cleaning", but I cannot pass on the series trends that show Atlanta having won 9 straight in this series, and they have covered in 8 of those 9 wins.

Dallas has won their last pair of games, but both were on their home court. The Mavericks did lose in their only other road game on opening night at Phoenix by 21-points.

Meanwhile, Atlanta has opened the new season with 3 in a row on the road, and after losing their first 2 on the road, the Hawks did finally break their maiden the other night in a road win at Cleveland.

Trae Young has the home fan base excited, and tonight in their home opener, Young and the Hawks will extend their series win streak to 10 straight over the Mavericks.

Play Atlanta.

3* ATLANTA

Free play for Wednesday is the Over in the World Series.

The Dodgers plated 4 runs last night, while the Red Sox were able to score 8 times in a Game One Over.

More of the same tonight, as LA brings a 6-2-1 Over mark in their last 9 road games this season. Los Angeles is also 5-2-1 Over in their last 8 playoff away contests.

The Red Sox are 9-1-2 their last dozen at home, and pitcher David Price has been an October nightmare save for his last playoff start against Houston last week.

Runs add up to another Over on Wednesday.

2* L.A. DODGERS-BOSTON OVER

Wednesday night on the ice I will back Winnipeg as they close out their 6 game home stand with the win.

The Jets have won each of their last 3 heading into tonight, and they are 4-1 overall on home ice the past 10 days.

The Maple Leafs have hit their first rough patch of the young campaign, as they come into this one having lost their last pair - outscored 7-1 in those 2 losses!

Toronto will play Winnipeg once again on the 27th back at home, and that I feel is the better chance for them to defeat the Jets, NOT tonight.

The Jets have won 9 of the last 12 in this series, winning 5 of the last 6 on home ice over the Leafs.

Mark up the Jets for another win here.

3* WINNIPEG
