For Wednesday, let's go OVER the total with the Yankees at the Twins.
It's no secret that New York starter Luis Severino has been like throwing gasoline on a fire when he takes the mound, as he has allowed 3 runs or more in 10 of his last 11 starts.
The Over is 10-2 in Severino's last 12 starts too!
Both meetings this week have played Over the total, and 7 of the last 8 in this series have also played Over the total.
Twins hurler Jake Odorizzi owns a season ERA of 4.57, so why not look for the hitters to hit, and the runs to add up.
Yankees-Twins Over the total.
4* N.Y. YANKEES-MINNESOTA OVER

Wednesday comp play is the A's-O's Over the total.
It has been a low-scoring season series between the teams this year, as last night's Under makes it 3 straight between the teams having landed Under the total, but tonight with Liam Hendricks and Andrew Cashner taking the mound, expect the bats to make enough noise to carry this game Over the total.
Liam Hendricks owns a 6.32 season ERA for his 15-plus innings pitched this season, while Andrew Cashner's season ERA is 4.89.
The Atheltics have played Over the total in 8 of their last 10 games, while the Orioles have landed Over the total in 4 of their last 6 games played.
After a low-scoring series opener, things get loud and offensive tonight near the inner-harbor.
Oakland-Baltimore Over the total.
3* OAKLAND-BALTIMORE OVER

I am on a 75-37 baseball run. Today, I continue to get you paid as I have my MLB 7-1 EARLY WINNER and my 21-6 AL EAST GAME OF THE WEEK. Get both and go 2-0.
Wednesday's FREE MLB WINNER: New York Yankees on the RUN LINE over Minnesota Twins.
Game 923.
5:10 pm pst.
New York has dominated Minnesota, taking 5 of the 6 meetings this season, and 9 of the L10, going back to last season, outscoring the Twins, 66-33 during that span. Team ERA and Wins Leader, Luis Severino takes the mound here. The RH is 17-7 with a 3.52 ERA on the season. RH, Jake Odorizzi gets the nod at home. The RH owns a 5-10, 4.57 mark on the campaign, getting plowed for 5 ER's in just 4.2 IP, in his only turn vs. the Yankees in 2018. New York is 42-20 the L62 in Minnesota, 56-18 the L74 overall vs. Minnesota, and 8-1 in Severino's L9 starts vs. the AL Central. Minnesota is 1-4 the L5 vs. the AL East, 1-7 the L8 vs. teams with a winning percentage of over .600, and 1-5 in Odorizzi's L6 starts vs. teams with a winning record. Take the Yankees on the RUN LINE. Thank you.

Reds +174
This play just missed out on our premium card. The Los Angeles Dodgers and Cincinnati Reds face off on Wednesday and in this game the underdogs have the value.
The Reds have dominated the Dodgers this year winning each of the first six games. Just based on value that has to be the play in this game.
Ross Stripling is on the mound and he hasn't been as strong as of late. In two of his last three starts he has given up four runs or more.
Back the Reds

Play on: UNDER 7½ -120
Wednesday MLB Free play. My selection is on the 'under' between Washington and Philadelphia at 7:05 pm et on Wednesday.
I'll back the 'under' at Citizens Bank Park on Wednesday night.
Nationals starter Stephen Strasburg hasn't exactly been lights out since returning to the rotation following another injury, but has held his own over his last three starts, giving up just six earned runs in 17 2/3 innings of work. In his last five starts here in Philadelphia he has given up just seven earned runs in 33 2/3 innings pitched. The 'under' is 5-1 in Strasburg's last six outings against the Phillies.
Aaron Nola will counter for Philadelphia. He has worked at least into the sixth inning in each of his last eight starts. Note that he has given up two earned runs or less in six of those eight outings. In Nola's last three starts against Washington he has allowed a grand total of two earned runs on 14 hits over 22 2/3 innings of work. The 'under' is 6-1 in his last seven starts overall.
While both teams have been putting runs on the board with some consistency over the last week or so, I see this as an ideal pitching matchup to put a stop to that. Both clubs have trended to the 'under' overall this season. Take the under (8*).

Scott "The Bulldog" Rickenbach MLB Game #917 Wednesday Free Pick OVER the total in Tampa Bay Rays vs Cleveland Indians @ 1:10 ET - The last time I checked the Rays and Indians are still American League teams. All kidding aside, the fact is that 6.5 is an awful low total for any AL game and particularly the way these two teams had been swinging the bats prior to yesterday's 2-0 Indians win. Off of yesterday's pitchers' duel and with two solid starting pitchers on the mound Wednesday, there has been an over-reaction by the markets which has resulted in value on the over here. Prior to scoring just 2 runs yesterday the Indians had averaged scoring 5.6 runs on 9.7 hits per game their 7 prior games. The Rays, prior to being shutout yesterday, had averaged scoring 7 runs per game their 9 prior games. Cleveland's Carlos Carrasco has given up 5 earned runs in 2 of his last 3 starts against the Rays and that includes an outing early this month so the Rays just recently saw him and hit well against him. Tampa Bay's Blake Snell has given up 13 hits in his last 12 innings on the mound and that included facing the Tribe on the 1st of this month. The point is that neither one of these guys is likely to be unhittable and, considering the way these teams had been swinging the sticks prior to Tuesday, there has been an over-reaction with the movement on this total and I'll grab the value being offered. 10* FREE MLB PICK (Phillies -131)
I'll take my chances here with the Phillies at home with ace Aaron Nola on the mound. It's do or die for Philadelphia right now. After losing both games in yesterday's double-header the Phillies have now lost 4 straight and are just 2-8 in their last 10. They are 6.5-games back of the Braves in the NL East and 6.5-games back of the Cardinals for the final Wild Card spot. Nola is just the guy to have on the mound to get them back on track. He's 9-1 with a 2.21 ERA and 0.993 WHIP in 14 home starts (12-2 team record). He's also owned the Nationals' in his 4 starts against them this season. In those 4 starts, Nola has allowed a mere 5 runs on 18 hits in 28 2/3 innings of work. Give me the Phillies -131!

The Atlanta Braves defeated the San Francisco Giants 4-1 Tuesday night. Under is 10-1 in Braves last 11 road games vs. a team with a losing record and 16-4-1 in Giants last 21 vs. a team with a winning record.
Giants left-hander Derek Holland (7-8, 3.54 ERA) has been dominant lately posting a 1.61 ERA over his last five outings while Braves righty Anibal Sanchez (6-5, 3.09 ERA) had allowed just one run in back-to-back starts before giving up three runs in five innings at Arizona his last time out. Sanchez has otherwise been solid on the road this season, and he's been at his best in day games (2.16 ERA in six starts). We can also note that he owns a 2.13 ERA in six career starts against San Francisco.
Under is 15-5-1 in Holland's last 21 starts overall.
Free pick on UNDER.

In August Carlos Rodon started five games in the month against teams like Tampa, Cleveland and the Yankees and got the win in three of them. In the other two games he recieved a no decision despite pitching fantastic. He struggled a little in two September starts against The Red Sox and Angels but that's to be expected with those two offenses.
Due to those losses we're getting a little value here against the Royals and pitcher Eric Skoglund who is making his second start since his three month stint on the DL. Rodon has another strong performance and the Sox win. Take Chicago On The Money Line.

Jack’s Free Pick Wednesday: Chicago White Sox -126
The White Sox should be motivated for a victory here Wednesday night. They have lost seven straight and will be looking to avoid the sweep after losing the first two games of this series to the Royals. They have a big advantage on the mound tonight.
Carlos Rodon has been a huge bright spot for the White Sox this season. He is 6-5 with a 3.11 ERA and 1.083 WHIP in 16 starts. Rodon is also 2-2 with a 3.90 ERA in five career starts against Kansas City.
The Royals will counter with Eric Skoglund, who will be making his first start since late May and will clearly be on a pitch count. Skoglund is 1-5 with a 6.70 ERA and 1.389 WHIP in nine starts this season.
The White Sox are 4-0 in Rodon’s last four road starts. Chicago is 11-5 in its last 16 road games, including 5-1 in its last six road games vs. a left-handed starter. The Royals are 0-4 in Skoglund’s last four starts. Kansas City is 10-42 in its last 52 during Game 3 of a series. Bet the White Sox Wednesday.

Dave’s Wednesday Free Play:
1* on Milwaukee Brewers +147
The Key: The Brewers are just 2 games behind the Cubs for 1st place in the NL Central. I like the price we are getting with the Brewers today over the Cubs because I believe they have the edge on the mound. Chase Anderson has been at his best on the road this season, going 4-4 with a 2.89 ERA and 1.10 WHIP in 13 road starts. Kyle Hendricks has been very beatable this year at 11-10 with a 3.71 ERA through 29 starts. Anderson is 4-4 with a 2.91 ERA and 0.99 WHIP in 10 lifetime starts against the Cubs. He has yielded just 3 earned runs in 20 innings in his 3 starts against the Cubs in 2018. Hendricks has yielded 8 earned runs in 18 innings in his 3 starts against the Brewers in 2018. Take Milwaukee.

1 Unit FREE PLAY on Seattle Mariners -143
The Mariners are on their last life here and need wins in bunches. They should be able to handle the San Diego Padres tonight with Wade LeBlanc on the mound. The Padres are just 14-32 against left-handed starters this season. The left-hander is 8-3 with a 3.45 ERA and 1.13 WHIP in 23 starts this season, including 1-0 with a 0.47 ERA and 1.00 WHIP in his last three starts. The Mariners are 15-3 in LeBlanc’s last 18 home starts. Seattle is 10-1 in LeBlanc’s last 11 starts vs. a team with a losing record. The Padres are 4-22 in their last 26 interleague road games against left-handed starters. Give me the Mariners.
