With Milwaukee and New York slated to complete the back end of a home-and-home on Thursday in Milwaukee, going to look for New York to at least stay inside of the number today in this home game to open the Christmas NBA card.
New York is riding a 4 game straight up losing streak, and they have dropped 9 of their last 10 games overall, covering just 2 times over their last 10 games, still, I feel this is too many points to be laying by the Bucks on the road today.
Milwaukee could not win on the Madison Square Garden floor back on December the 1st when they were favored by 8, as the Knickerbockers won a 136-134 overtime contest that night. That straight up loss did snap a 6 game winning streak by the Bucks over the Knicks, but keep in mind that against the spread Milwaukee is 1-2-1 the past 4 showdowns, and just 2-6-1 overall the last 10 times they have faced New York.
The Bucks did have their 4 game winning streak snapped on Saturday in a road loss at Miami, as Mike Budenholzer's team is just 2-3-1 against the spread their last 6 games -- all of them as the favorite. They are also 6-8-1 against the spread on the road this season - that includes the loss to New York to start the month.
This is most definitely a sweep-able pair of games for Milwaukee as New York is clearly not going anywhere this year, but with this being a road game on Christmas Day, I will look for the sliding Knicks to show some pride in front of the home crowd and at least keep this one within the pointspread.

This total is way too high for this matchup. These Christmas Day games are as big as it gets in the NBA for the regular-season. It's as close to the intensity of a playoff game that we will get.
While everyone is going to just assume this will be a shootout with how high-powered both of these offenses are, it's not going to happen. Both teams are going to be highly motivated to get a win here and I'm expecting max effort on the defensive side of the ball.
If you remember back to last year when the Warriors hosted LeBron James and the Cavaliers. The two teams combined for just 191 points in a 99-92 Golden State win. I'm not saying it will be that low-scoring, but for these two to go over the total, each team has to score 59 points each half. This number should be closer to 220. Take the UNDER!

This is without a doubt the marquee matchup of Christmas Day as the Pacific Division-leading Golden State Warriors host the 2nd-placed LA Lakers st Oracle Arena.
The Warriors have failed to cover the spread in six of their last seven games, and I think that will the the case here as well.
The Lakers have lost three of their last four games, including a 107-99 defeat at home against Memphis on Sunday night, but that will most likely just make them more fired up for this contest. They've lost seven straight to the Warriors, but this is the first matchup with Lebron James in a Lakers uniform.
All things considered, I think the visitors are given way too many points to pass up on.

I'll take my chances here with Boston covering the short number here at home against the 76ers. While the Celtics aren't sitting on top the Eastern Conference like a lot of people expected, they have been playing much better of late and are a strong 10-5 at home this season. Philadelphia is also not a great road team. The 76ers are 16-3 at home compared to just 6-9 on the road. Not only are they not winning, but they aren't covering, as they are 5-10 ATS away from home.
