Davidson has Conference tournament knockout revenge here in this game and they are 14-0 at home off a road game while St. Louis is 0-7 on the road off a home loss. The Wildcats have all 5 starters back from last season and were projected to roll this conference this season but have under achieved all year while the Billikens who were not expected to do much have run out to a 15-2 record. On Wednesday night the 30-13 (19-21-3 ATS) Denver Nuggets travel to Houston to take on the Rockets 26-16 (19-23 ATS). This matchup tips off at 8pm ET from the Toyota Center. Odds currently favor the Rockets by -8, and the O/U is set at 228.5. Last time these two teams met Houston pounded the Nuggets 130-104 on Dec. 31 and they've won 11 of the past 13 meetings.
I expect more of the same on Wednesday. Harden is going to come out of his scoring slump and he always plays well against the Nuggets, and on the other side Denver always puts up at least 100 points (their last 21 games) so we know they'll get theirs and we should see a lot of scoring in this one.
There's just too much firepower in this game. Westbrook has 5 straight 30-point games and has two triple-doubles in the past 3 games. Jokic has 3 straight double-doubles and 5 in the past 6 games.
Betting trends to consider. Over is 7-2 in the Nuggets last 9 road games, and 11-4 in the Nuggets last 15 games as an underdog. The Nuggets have lost 7 in a row in Houston.
Back the OVER 228.5 in what will be a high-scoring affair.

The Houston Rockets have been a dumpster fire in recent weeks, losing four straight and five of their last six. James Harden has been struggling, and he was 1-of-17 from beyond the arc in Monday's loss to Oklahoma City. Russell Westbrook has scored 30+ points in five straight games, but it hasn't translated into wins for the Rockets. The Bookmakers are asking Houston to cover an eight point spread here at home, against a Denver team that has a better overall record and is coming off four straight road wins. Until the Rockets snap out of their funk, I would be reluctant to lay points betting on Houston.
