Stephen Strasburg is 18-6 with a 3.32 ERA this season but he has been dominant in the playoffs in his career with a 1.34 ERA. He is 4-0 with a 1.93 ERA this postseason. Justin Verlander is 21-6 with a 2.58 ERA this season but he is 1-3 with a 4.13 ERA this postseason. Both these teams are going to come out firing but the Nats have faced elimination three times already this postseason, obviously winning all three games. Strasburg pitched in two of them, so this situation isn’t too big for him. Justin Verlander was 0-4 with a 5.67 ERA before he took the loss in Game 2 giving up four runs. The value is just too good to pass on Strasburg and the Nats.

I have the Nationals to force a Game 7 tonight just because of Justin Verlander. Perhaps the stress and wear down of starting 39 games this season is finally catching up with the 36-year old. The Nationals beat him the first time around in Houston when they won the first two games. For the third time in Verlander’s last four starts he gave up four runs and the Astros lost all three. The Nationals have won their last six behind Stephen Strasburg. Nationals win.

5-1 IN LAST 6 MLB ML PICKS | +534
16-8 IN LAST 24 WAS ML PICKS | +1049
15-9 IN LAST 24 HOU ML PICKS | +789

This line seems way too high. The Hawks are off to a 2-1 start, with their only loss coming by two points to a great team in the Sixers. They have a ton of young talent and added depth this season, so they are going to be a tough team to beat more often than not. Miami will be getting its star back in Jimmy Butler and has played well in its own right, so winning this game outright will be a tall order for the Hawks. I don’t think they will emerge victorious, but give me the points.

7-2 IN LAST 9 NBA ATS PICKS | +479
6-2 IN LAST 8 ATL ATS PICKS | +380
3-1 IN LAST 4 MIA ATS PICKS | +189

Nashville -1.5

These two teams are playing different hockey right now. Chicago just ended a four-game losing streak while Nashville is 3-0-1 its last four. The Predators' Roman Josi is playing at a different level right now while Pekka Rinne continues to shine in net posting a 5-0-1 record with one shutout, a 1.98 GAA and a .929 save percentage in six home starts. Chicago is one of three teams without a road win yet this year. Nashville puck line (+124) is the play.

Tampa Bay -1.5

This Rangers team is struggling right now, posting a 1-5-1 record since a 2-0 start. They are having trouble on the power play, having converted on just 3-of-27 chances during their skid. The Lightning are the better team, and they have won five straight and are 6-0-2 in the last eight meetings between the teams. Tampa Bay is well rested; look for the Lightning to dominate this game. Tampa Bay puck line (+119) is the play.
