Max Scherzer is 11-7 with a 2.92 ERA this season and he is 3-0 with a 2.16 ERA this postseason. Zack Greinke is 18-5 with a 2.93 ERA this season and he is 0-2 with a 5.30 ERA this postseason. The Nats have yet to lose an elimination game (4-0) or start by Scherzer (4-0) this postseason, and the road team has won every game of this series. My only concern is the health of Scherzer. We should see Cole piggybacking Greinke and Corbin piggybacking Scherzer this game, so I would expect everyone to be available but Justin Verlander and Stephen Strasburg. Anything can happen in baseball, let alone a Game 7. I’d take the value in the underdog in this game.

The Nats found their momentum back in Houston after losing all three at home and I like them to win again. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the road teams win all seven games, either. I’m on the Nationals because of Zack Greinke starting for Houston. He’s not a big moment starter and this is the biggest moment of his career. Nationals to win.

The Bulls came into this season with a plan to shoot a lot more threes. Thus far, it has not worked. They're shooting them, but only Orlando has a worse percentage from three. What's important, though, is the Bulls aren't a bad shooting team, nor have they been taking bad shots. The shots just haven't been falling. Regression is coming, and it should come tonight against a young Cleveland team that doesn't play much defense.

The winless Pacers have had their share of misfortune as well, as they failed to execute down the stretch against the Pistons in a game they controlled most of the way. Look for Indiana's edge on the defensive end to be the difference Wednesday against a Nets club that is sure to garner public favor.

The Kyrie Irving era isn’t off to the best of starts with the Nets being 1-2. Their only win came against the Knicks while Brooklyn suffered bad losses to both the Timberwolves and Grizzlies, two teams that aren’t expected to be very good. However, the Pacers have played even worse, posting an 0-3 mark, which includes two losses to the Pistons and an 11-point loss to the Cavaliers. Add in the fact that this game is in Brooklyn, and I like the Nets to cover.

I don’t expect them to be any match for Giannis Antetokounmpo and company, so I’ll take them to cover.

Despite a mediocre 2-2 start, the Blazers have played well. Their first loss came against one of the best teams in the league (Denver), and their second was a three-point defeat at San Antonio. Meanwhile, the Thunder are 1-3 with one of their losses coming against the lowly Wizards. This line seems way too low to me, so give me the Blazers to cover.

On Wednesday night, they're at home against a terrible Hornets team that's in the middle of a long road trip, and has lost three straight by at least 15 points. This is the perfect spot for the Kings to make a statement and get their first win.

Wild are coming into this game on the second half of a back to back and now must face the champs a night after taking a solid early lead into the 3rd period against the Stars last night that yielde their opponents 5 goals in the final frame and sent the Wild on a quick trip up to Missouri after a 6-3 loss. With Stalock going last night, almost definitely Dubnyk will be in net and the Wild finally finish their road trip as a road dog where they are 0-7 SU this season...and 0-3 in a spot where they get to go home following the final road game of a trip. The trend is 9 straight losses going back to last season.
Binnington is in net and this value must largely be available due to eliminating OT and the missing Terasenko....but against the Wild on the ice tonight this shouldn't matter as it is very hard to imagine Minnesota putting together much offense at all!
The Blues are back home now after a road back to back they swept and have won 3 straight as chalk....this might be the easiest play of the week!

My apologies for the last entry of this Game 7 finale. Game analysis will be added before first pitch. The reason for the delay in finalizing this investment was information I was waiting on concerning Nats starter Mad Max.
Without throwing my contact under the bus - let me just share what might be obvious to some or at minimum an assumption.. that Max isn't 100 percent. He is still tentative to completely extend with his throwing arm because of the pressure and pain it creates in his back... and his side session, two of them be it limited, never saw him reach his September average 4-seam Velo -- my contact reports that he was at best 2 mph below his September velocity which was, by the way, following a stint on the IL with this same issue, 2 mph less than his July.
If in fact Mad Max is 3-4 mph below his July velocity, his four-seam fast ball, he will not survive the first 4 innings tonight versus this Houston lineup. Furthermore the home plate umpire is hitter friendly, giving Greinke and his array, 10 pitch and speed arsenal, a signficant edge.

Two of the Nats' three wins this series have come against Justin Verlander, who has faded in the playoffs; they won't get their chance to beat Verlander Wednesday. Meanwhile, are we sure Max Scherzer is 100 percent after not being able to lift his arm on Sunday? The Astros won Game 7 of the World Series two years ago. They'll do it again on Wednesday.

Winner take all and I’m siding with the better team with the better pitching staff on deck. So far throughout the World Series Zack Greinke has given up just one run to the Nationals. Let’s not forget the best pitcher in the MLB post All-Star break in Gerrit Cole is available as well. Interesting stat to take note here. With Nationals catcher Yan Gomes behind the plate, Max Scherzer is a just simply not as impressive. In over 72 innings pitched, Scherzer carries an ERA of 4.09 with Gomes as opposed to 2.08 with Kurt Suzuki starting at catcher. A huge sample size allows me to believe this statistic shouldn’t be taken lightly. Astros win the World Series Wednesday night.
