My Wednesday free play is going to be the same as last night's free play winner, and that is to play the series ender between the Giants and the Cardinals to once again end up Under the posted price.
Each of the last 3 series meetings between the teams this year - including the 2 this week - have held Under the total, as the teams have combined for a measly 6 total runs in those 3 meetings!
The Giants have played 3 of their last 4 games Under the total, and are on a 4-2-1 Under run over their last 7 games contested.
The Cardinals meanwhile have landed Under the total in 4 of their last 5 games, and in 6 of their past 8 games overall.
Look for the pitching duel between Madison Bumgarner and Michael Wacha to be a good one, and look for the offense to once again remain quiet in this one.
Giants-Cardinals Under the total.
5* SAN FRANCISCO-ST. LOUIS UNDER

Wednesday comp play will be the Padres and the Diamondbacks to hold Under the total.
San Diego and Arizona followed their 14-7 football final on Labor Day with a 2-1 Under last night, and with Chris Paddack and Zac Gallen going, I do not expect too many runs to come across in the series finale.
Paddack has been struggling in recent starts, but last time out he went 7 innings with just one run allowed versus the San Francisco Giants, and in his pair of starts this season against the Diamondbacks, he sports a 1.59 ERA. Both of those starts ending in 2-1 finals that held Under the total.
Gallen has made 12 season starts this year, and the Under is 9-2-1. In his 5 starts with the Diamondbacks, he has not allowed more than 3 runs to cross, and the Under is 4-0-1.
Look for the pitching to dominate tonight, and for the Padres and Diamondbacks to hold Under the total.
4* SAN DIEGO-ARIZONA UNDER
