The Tiger-Cats have a bye week on deck. They're also coming off a game in which, despite winning, they only scored 13 points. Hamilton will go all-out here and put up a ton of points against an out-classed foe. Keep in mind, Toronto is winless on the road this season while Hamilton is undefeated at home on the year. The Ti-Cats beat the Argonauts 64-14 earlier this season. While I, of course, do not expect that huge of a margin here, I fully expect the Tiger-Cats to impose their will as this game goes on. Keep in mind their defense terrorized another 1-win team last week when they held BC to 10 points and registered 7 sacks against the Lions! Hamilton also had two interceptions in that game. The Tiger-Cats have covered 5 of their last 6 meetings with Toronto and I look for that trend to continue here as the Ti-Cats head into their bye week with another dominating win over the Argos. Notre Dame is minus their top rusher (Dexter Williams) and their top receiver (Miles Boykin) as they enter the 2019 campaign, but they do have quarterback Ian Book back to lead their offense, and Book will be working against a Louisville defense that regularly punctured last season, as the Cards were outscored by over 24 points per game, and outgained by a whopping 131 yard per contest as well! Bottom line; Book should do some business against the porous Cardinals defense.
Yes, Louisville does have 9 of their top 11 tacklers back from last year's leaky stop unit, and they simply must be better under first year head coach Scott Satterfield, but just how much better? This total looks a little "small" to me considering the fact we simply do not know just how "shored up" the "D" will be for the 'Ville. Remember, 7 of the Cardinals last 8 games last season did wind up landing Over the total.
Notre Dame did play their final 3 games last season Under the posted price, but they did play Over in 6 of their previous 7 prior to those 3 in a row Low.
I am going to look for there to be just enough points to take this one Over the total.
