I'll take my chances here with Arizona securing a win at home against the Cardinals. This is a huge letdown spot for St Louis, who are coming off a 4-game sweep of the rival Cubs in Chicago. All 4 wins coming by exactly 1-run and them stealing the final two games in the series in their final at-bat. I also like fading Cardinals' starter Adam Wainwright on the road. He's just 4-6 with a 5.90 ERA and 1.563 WHIP in 14 road starts. Dbacks will counter with Alex Young, who has a 3.38 ERA in 14 starts overall and a 1.15 ERA and 1.213 WHIP in his last 3 starts. Everyone knows that the Bears defense is one of, if not the best defense in the NFL. Their main issue is the play of the offense. Mitch Trubisky has been inconsistent and seems to have regressed a bit from last season. The Redskins come into this game desperate for a win. They can't afford to start the season at 0-3. Coach Gruden has shown the ability to rally his troops in games like this. Surprisingly the Redskins offense has been better than expected this year and the issue has been with their defense. However, they are getting back Jonathan Allen and Fabian Moreau to help bolster the defense. I expect a close game Monday night. Take the Skins and the points.
