NCAA-F | NC State vs Wake Forest
Play on: Wake Forest -7 -114 at Pinnacle

The College Football Comp play is on Wake Forest at 12:00 eastern. The Deacons fit a very rare system that dates to 1980 that plays on home favorites off a home dog win and a prior home game vs a team like NC. St that is off a road loss.. This system is 15-4 to the spread and even better in this line range. The Deacons will be fine of Newman is not able to go as Sam Hartman has been solid in his place. Wake has covered 10 of 11 here vs The Wolfpack so its no wonder the home team has covered 18 of 23 in the series. Wake has covered 4 of 5 as a favorite. NC. St has failed to cover 4 of 5 vs a winning teams, 6 of 7 after allowing more than 450 yards and the last 5 on the road. Look for Wake to Rake today. . For the College football free pick. Go with Wake Forest. RV- GC Sports

Play - Army (Game 363).

Edges - Cadets: double-digit dogs that won 11-plus games the previous season are 17-7 ATS coming off consecutive losses and facing foes off a double-digit win … Falcons: 9-20 ATS as double-digit favorite since 2010 … We recommend a 1* play on Army. Thank you and good luck as always.

1* NCAAF - Free Pick on BYU Cougars +5 -110

I really like the value with BYU on the road Saturday against Utah State. The Cougars snapped a 3-game losing streak with a 28-25 win at home as a 7-point dog against Boise State last time out. They got to take the momentum of that win into their bye week and I expect them to come out and not just cover, but win this game outright.

BYU is not your typical 3-4 team, as they have played one of the toughest schedules to this point. That's pretty evident by their wins over Tennessee, USC and Boise State. This is also not just another game. These are two in-state rivals and BYU has had this one circled after losing badly to the Aggies each of the last two years.

Thing is, this is not the same caliber a Utah State team. Just look at last week's 31-7 loss at Air Force, where they only managed a whopping 128 total yards of offense. BYU's defensive numbers might not look all that great, but a lot of that is the schedule.

This is definitely the time of year to get on BYU, as the Aggies are 12-2 ATS in their last 14 games played in the month of November. They have also covered 7 of their last 8 games vs a team from the MWC and are 9-3 ATS last 12 on the road. Take BYU!

My free play for Saturday is on the UCLA Bruins against the Colorado Buffaloes. The line is sitting low to start the week, particularly because quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson's knee inury last week. Per my sources, his MRI revealed only a knee bruise, and by the end of this week, he'll be good to go after treatment.

The Bruins won the first of a two-game homestand against Arizona State 42-32 at the Rose Bowl last week, and momentum is building for a team that started the season looking like it may endure the worst in program history.

Now at 3-5, the Bruins need three more wins to become bowl eligible, and this is undoubtedly a winnable game against a fellow 3-5 team. UCLA, which is on a 7-1 ATS run against Pac 12 foes, has finally reached a point its outscoring foes during a particular stretch.

The Bruins are averaging 35.7 points per game in their last three, while they're allowing 32 in that same span.

The home team has won the last four meetings, and now the Bruins - who have won two straight - catch a Buffaloes team that has lost four in a row, including two on the road by an average margin of 36.5 points per loss.

Colorado is clearly experiencing growing pains under first-year coach Mel Tucker, as the Buffaloes have struggled against Pac-12 opponents. USC overcame a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter by scoring 14 points and shutting out the Colorado’s offense last week. The Trojans' comeback should come as no surprise, as Colorado's defense ranks 125th in the nation, allowing 486.9 yards per game - including 327.3 yards passing (123rd).

Look for DTR to play in this one, and the Bruins to have a big game offensively.

3* UCLA

My free play for Tuesday night is on the San Jose State Spartans, plus the points at home against the Boise State Broncos.

If I were giving out a midseason award for Mountain West coach of the year, there's no doubt in my mind San Jose State's Brent Brennan would easily win the award. Sitting at 4-4, the Spartans have a very good chance to find themselves in a bowl.

I wanted to see how the team responded off a loss, and Saturday they confirmed for me how spunky and determined this team is this season.

Josh Love passed for 314 yards and three touchdowns, Matt Mercurio kicked four field goals, and the Spartans stunned Army 34-29.

San Jose State was coming off a 27-17 homecoming loss to San Diego State, its second straight setback, yet the Spartans did something they hadn't done in four years, that being win twice in a season on the road.

That road win at a very difficult venue is going to give the Spartans a jolt of confidence, especially after they won at Arkansas (31-24) last month, their first road victory of the season.

That loss to San Diego State was Homecoming night for the Spartans, and they're going to be looking to avenge the setback for the homecrowd. This is their second-to-last home game before the season finale against Fresno State, so there's no doubt they'll be fired up for their nationally ranked game.

And here's the thing, Boise State has a bit of an issue at quarterback, as frosh Hank Bachmeier missed the BYU game while recovering from a hit he took the previous week against Hawaii. His backup, Chase Cord, threw two interceptions in his first career start on Oct. 19 at BYU.

Now, against an opportunistic secondary, the Broncos face a San Jose State team that leads the Mountain West with 13 interceptions, which rank second in the country behind Oregon’s 14.

This is going to be a very interesting game, and the Spartans will hang around long enough to cover, if not make a run at the outright win.

Take the points.

5* SAN JOSE STATE

My money is on the UNDER 50.5 in Saturday's MAC matchup that has Central Michigan hosting Northern Illinois. I think we are seeing a much higher total than we should be given the Chippewas recent offensive outbursts, but those have come against bad defenses. Northern Illinois just shutout Akron last time out and while the Huskies are just 3-5 overall, they have played an absolutely brutal schedule. UNDER is 10-2 in their last 12 after giving up 6 points or fewer and 9-3 in Central Michigan's last 12 after allowing 40 or more and 14-5 in their last 19 offa a loss. BET THE UNDER 50.5!

10* FREE NCAAF PICK (Wake Forest -7)

I think the fact that NC State is turning to redshirt freshman Devin Leary at quarterback could spark some interest in the Wolfpack, especially given that he threw for 259 yards and 3 scores in relief of Bailey Hockman in NC State’s last game against BC.

However, I don’t think the switch will be enough for the Wolfpack to make a game of it on the road against this Demon Deacons team. The big thing to note with Leary’s numbers against the Eagles is that he completed less than 50% of his attempts, going 15 of 33. You also have to take into consideration that it came against a pretty bad Boston College defense.

In the two games prior, NC State managed just 16 points against Syracuse and 13 against Florida State. Neither of those teams are anything special on defense. Also, the Wolfpack have shown little ability to run the ball against better teams.

Simply put, I thinking it’s asking too much of Leary to go score-for-score with this potent Wake Forest offense, especially considering how good the Demon Deacons passing attack has been and how poor NC State’s pass defense has been. Wake Forest has thrown for 300+ yards in 3 of their last 4 games, while the Wolfpack defense has given up 300+ in 3 of their last 4. They did hold BC to just 106 yards passing, but the Eagles also attempted just 15 passes, in large part because they rushed for 429 yards.

NC State is a mere 1-8 ATS last 9 games they have played against a team that is averaging 31 or more points/game and have failed to cover 7 straight against an offense that is averaging more than 450 yards/game. Wake Forest is averaging 37.1 ppg and 524 ypg. Give me the Demon Deacons -7.

NCAA-F | Nebraska vs Purdue
Play on: Nebraska -3½ -109 at GTBets

Jack’s Free Pick Saturday: Nebraska -3.5

It’s a great time to ‘buy low’ on the Nebraska Cornhuskers now. No team got more hype coming into the season than Nebraska. They have grossly failed to live up to expectations, going 4-4 SU & 1-7 ATS. It has been equal parts poor performance and injuries for this team. We saw them start slow last season and finish strong, and I think they will do the same thing again this year.

Now, the Huskers get a big boost with the return of QB Adrian Martinez from a knee injury. Martinez got hurt against Northwestern and the Huskers went on to lose their next two games against Minnesota and Indiana. But they are a completely different offense with Martinez under center. Look for the Huskers to hang a big number on a soft Purdue defense this week.

Speaking of injuries, no team has been hit harder by them in the Big Ten than Purdue. The Boilermakers remain without QB Elijah Sindelar and WR Rondale Moore, their two best players. And they have injuries all over their defense and along the offensive line, as well as cluster injuries at receiver. It’s no surprise the Boilermakers are just 1-5 SU in their last six games overall with their only win coming against a bad Maryland team at home. They lost to a bad Illinois team 6-24 at home last week as well.

Nebraska is 30-12 ATS in their last 42 games after failing to cover the spread in four or five of their last six games coming in. The Huskers are 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 road games vs. a team with a losing home record. The road team is 4-1-1 ATS in the last five meetings. The Huskers get back in the win column this weekend behind Martinez. Bet Nebraska Saturday.

Play on: UNDER 49 -110

Since winning week one against Norfolk State, ODU has scored just 92 points. The Monarchs have lost seven straight and a lot of it is because of an offense that has a horrendous quarterback situation and just not enough weapons. They've failed to crack the 210 passing yard mark this whole season. The defense has actually been pretty good, but they are on the field way too much. If you look, they held their own against Virginia in September and played pretty well against WKU. On the other side, FIU is coming off an embarrassing loss to MTSU in which they lost 50-17 as a one point favorite. This offense has been very good since a slow start. They had a stretch of five straight where they scored 30 or more, but not exactly against any great defenses. FIU's D is not the best either, but everyone is slowing down ODU. To me, this one is an under with the home team doing a lot of the heavy lifting.

Play on: Notre Dame -17 -109 at Pinnacle

Scott "The Bulldog" Rickenbach Free Pick Saturday CFB Rotation #342 Notre Dame Fighting Irish (-) vs Virginia Tech Hokies @ 2:30 ET - A big line here but absolutely justified. Notre Dame will be ready to take out the frustration of the ugly loss at Michigan and a bad Virginia Tech team provides the perfect punching bag. The Hokies have played one of the weakest schedules in the nation and one of the few times they stepped up in class they got blasted by 35 points by Duke. The Fighting Irish have played a much tougher schedule and they have 5 wins on the season with an average victory margin of 28 points. That is precisely where I am forecasting this game to end as well. Look for the Irish to win this one by about 4 TDs as they are off their lowest yardage output ever under head coach Brian Kelly. After being limited by the Wolverines tough defense and the rainy conditions at The Big House, the Fighting Irish enjoy a breakout game against a very weak Hokies defense this week. Additionally, you know the Irish defense is going to bring their A game after a season high 45 points was laid on them last week. Payback time. Free Pick NOTRE DAME

NCAA-F | Marshall vs Rice
Play on: Marshall -10½ -110 at Mirage

1* Free Play on Marshall -10½ -110

The winless Rice Owls (0-8) are still searching for their first win of the year. Saturday, they’ll take their shot against the Marshall Thundering Herd (5-3).

Marshall is on the road, but they took care of business in their last away game, which came in a 36-31 contest against FAU. That victory is part of the three-game winning streak Marshall is currently riding. The Herd have scored 26 or more throughout this streak.

On average, the Thundering Herd are scoring 27 points per game on 430 yards of offense while allowing 26 points per game on 389 yards.

Quarterback Isaiah Green and running back Brenden Knox are the engine of the Marshall offense. While Green has thrown for 1,607 yards with 11 touchdowns and six interceptions, Knox has rushed for 803 yards and seven touchdowns.

On top of failing to win a single game throughout the first eight games of the season, Rice has yet to score more than 27 points in any contest.

On average, the Owls are scoring 16 points per game on 277 yards of offense while allowing 29 points per game on 395 yards.

Rice is led by a pair of 500-yard receivers. Brad Rozner and Austin Trammel have each racked up 524 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

1 Unit FREE PLAY on Georgia -6

Everyone has buried Georgia since getting upset by South Carolina. That was a very fluky loss because they had 171 more total yards than South Carolina and should have won the game. And last time out they failed to cover against Kentucky in a 21-0 victory. Georgia doubters are criticizing their offense for those two games, but you have to realize both of those games were played in terrible weather. It will be perfect weather in Jacksonville, and the Bulldogs will get back to being the same offensive juggernaut they were before those two games. LSU racked up 42 points on this Florida defense and South Carolina scored 27 on them. I give the edge to Georgia on both offense and defense. The Bulldogs have outgained all seven of their opponents this season and five of them by at least 171 yards. Georgia has blown out Florida 42-7 and 36-17 in the last two meetings and I think we are getting them cheap here at under a touchdown because of the misconceptions about this team in the media. Georgia is 7-1 ATS in its last eight neutral site games. The Bulldogs get back in the playoff picture with a convincing win over the Gators this week. Give me Georgia.

The Golden Hurricane are much better than their record indicates. They kept it close against Oklahoma State, took SMU to triple overtime and should have beat Memphis last week if not for a missed 29-yard field goal in the finals seconds. I like their chances to keep this one within one score.

Dave’s Saturday Free Play:

1* on Washington +3.5

The Key: Chris Petersen is is a perfect 18-0 SU & 11-7 ATS off a bye week lifetime as a head coach. He is one of the best coaches you can back in this situation. And now his Washington Huskies are actually underdogs coming off a bye to Utah when they shouldn’t be. Washington deserved to beat Oregon at home last time out and really could easily be 8-0 this season instead of 5-3. But this team will not pack it in under Petersen. They can wreck Utah’s season with a win here. The Utes are a good team at 7-1, but they have been beating up on cupcakes lately with their last 3 wins coming against Cal, ASU and Oregon State. This is a big step up in class for them. In their previous toughest game, the Utes lost 23-30 at USC. The Huskies are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 games off a bye. Take Washington.

MIKE LUNDIN'S COLORADO @ UCLA FREE PICK

The UCLA Bruins have won two in a row, but they also have given up an average of 450 yards and 34 points per game in those contests. Additionally, they are just 1-3 SU and ATS at home on the season and have allowed both Oregon State and San Diego State to win as road underdogs.

Here they'll face a Colorado team that is undervalued by the betting market after failing to cover the spread in three of its last four games, and note that the Buffaloes put up a good fight last week when they were just a late touchdown away from upsetting USC. The defense looked much better and senior quarterback Steven Montez had a big game with 369 total yards and four TDs without a turnover. UCLA's defense is only marginally better than the struggling Buffaloes' and they are ranked 127th in the nation against the pass (306.8 ypg).

UCLA is coming off a 42-32 win over Arizona State, but the Bruins are 5-15-2 ATS in their last 22 games following a straight-up win and 3-9-1 ATS in their last 13 home games.

Buffaloes are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings. Buffaloes are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings at UCLA.

Free pick on Colorado Buffaloes.
