On the Panthers side we have a team that has lost 5 straight with little to play for and questions who on this team will back next season. Seattle meanwhile are 8-2-2 ATS on the road and have gone 15-4-3 ATS off a SU loss. The Panthers defense is allowing 5.2 YPC rushing meaning Carson will be able to run the ball which makes Russell Wilson’s play action more effective plus you can expect him to get a few FD’s rushing extending drives.

This line has steamed toward the Bears in the early going, and it's gotten to a point now where I think there's value on the Packers. They're typically a great home team in this part of the year, going 21-5 straight up since 2009, with Aaron Rodgers playing a full game in just two of those five losses. The Packers defense has enough talent to limit a suddenly solid Mitchell Trubisky, and the Packers run game should provide enough production to get the score into the 20s. I think the Packers win by six or seven.

I have some worries about the Steelers offense, as they appeared not to trust Devlin Hodges attacking downfield against a bad Arizona secondary. If you're willing to self-limit your offensive game plan, a good defense like that in Buffalo will make you pay. The elite Steelers defense thrives on turnovers, but Buffalo has done a great job protecting the ball with just three giveaways in its llast eight games. Though this is in danger of being a look-ahead spot for the Bills with the Patriots on deck, I trust their coaching staff to keep the team focused and get this win.

The Seahawks are the most bet team today, but they will be without Clowney and are missing a few guys on this defense. Carolina is the most basic team in the NFL when it comes to who they use on offense. There is no other team that only uses a handful of players and now that Greg Olsen is out again it makes the list shrink even more. It would seem that with Carolina having a new coach and new offensive coordinator that the Panthers really don’t have a shot in this game, but they can run the football well with Christian McCaffrey. The Seahawks are not good at stopping the run. When you can’t stop the run that leads into cheating to stop it and then you get beat with the pass. Seattle has a lot of talent on this offense and they too can take advantage of a team that can’t stop the run either. Both teams should do enough to make this a high scoring game and I wouldn’t be shocked to see Carolina back their way into a cover. Take the Over.

Drew Lock has been impressive in his limited work this year, but now it is on to Arrowhead Stadium in the cold and in the snow. Lock still is a rookie QB and will be facing a pass defense that is a lot better than the Texans Pass Defense from last week. This is a tough building to play in and I can’t get over all of the ankle and knee injuries Denver has on their front seven. Kansas City should be able to control the line of scrimmage and win this game by double digits. I don’t think this will be a 30 point blowout, but if KC gets up early this is just not a Denver team that can get back into a football game. It’s important for Andy Reid to get his team to start fast today. I think we are seeing a little fool’s gold out of the Broncos the last few weeks, but luckily for them they might have struck gold with their future QB being Drew Lock. Take the Chiefs.

The weather in this game calls for high winds which really makes you mad because it is not often you see two secondary’s with so many inexperienced players in them in the NFL. I still have to roll the dice here in this spot. This is the Eli Manning farewell tour. This could be Manning’s last home game in NY so today is his day. He still has a great arm and certainly is good enough to beat this Dolphins Secondary. The Giants have the better running game and being at home in colder weather should be an advantage against Miami today. Ryan Fitzpatrick is a competitor and this Dolphins Offense has not thrown in the towel as they are playing hard. I don’t think it will be enough to win, but they will help our high score. This is a good spot to go side and total. Take the Giants and the Over.

The Dallas Cowboys have all the talent in the world, but for some reason have not put it all together. In comes the hot LA Rams who all of a sudden have Todd Gurley playing well again, but there is something that has been overlooked. This Rams Offensive Line is not at full strength and it has no depth. At home you might be able to get away with it, but not on the road. It will be Dallas that uses their excellent offensive line that will be controlling the line of scrimmage. Jared Goff is just not a QB that I trust in big road games. Home field is so crucial in a game like this. Take the Cowboys.
