Georgia St +7

Many reading this analysis will remember Georgia State head coach Ron Hunter (104 wins in five years just 4 shy of an all-time program record) who directed the Panthers into the NCAA tournament several years ago where the team pulled off a stunning upset with the help of his son who eventually landed in the NBA. It was last campaign when the Georgia State offense broke the 80-point plateau just ONCE including exhibition games. Thus their Friday opener (111-69 romp) was significant not only for the offensive outburst by also on defense where Georgia State compiled 13 BLOCKS (just one shy of an all-time program record in a single game). The last time Georgia State defeated an oppoent from the Southeast Conference (2003) just happened to be the last time they played Auburn who they face this evening, With the "football" team just firing the head coach (with two games remaining) Georgia State could use an emotional boost and tonight the basketball team (ESPN/SEC Network) gets a rare shot at national television exposure

Giants +1

Have to love the Giants getting a point here since the Bengals have been a disaster on the Monday night road covering only 4 of their last 14. Monday night dogs always get more motivated and the G-Men will be ready having won 3 straight games. Do you really trust the Bengals laying points on the road in a prime time game??? I certainly don't - take the Giants here.
