ARIZONA (+3) over Dallas
Underdogs are 12-3 ATS this week in the NFL and that trend continues here tonight with a Monday Night Football home dog. Even during their resurgence over the last couple seasons, the Cowboys have not been a good favorite, going 8-11 ATS the last three years. During that same time, Head Coach Jason Garrett is a miserable 6-11 ATS when his team is between +3 or -3 points, meaning he has trouble covering when expected to be in a close game. Last week in Denver, the vaunted Dallas running game got shut down and the Broncos dared QB Dak Prescott to beat them. The result was an ugly 42-17 loss as a 3-point chalk. While the Cardinals offense has been average at best, the defense has been excellent in the first two weeks, holding opponents to 2.8 yards per rush. Look for the Cardinals “D” to copycat last week’s strategy employed by Denver and come away with the outright victory.
