Hawaii is difficult to beat on their home turf. They've restored their winning ways after a few mediocre years following June Jones' departure. Their offense is once again explosive with a prolific pass game and a formidable run game with bruising 1000+ rusher Green. Tulsa ranks 119th nationally against the pass and will need to rely on their offensive firepower to cover this game which would be likely if played on a neutral field. Tulsa QB G.J. Kinne is a pass/run duel threat with great surrounding weaponry; however, Hawaii has a ball hawking secondary (23 interceptions) and disciplined vs the run; moreover, the Warriors are strong at home. Consequently, we see Tulsa fading down the stretch in this one based on the spread that recently moved into a reasonable cover range for Hawaii.
