Nick "BookieKiller" Parsons

Florida -12.5

For a number of different reasons I believe the value in this game is on Florida:

Less than a week after leading the Bearcats to a wild 45-44 win over Pittsburgh to complete a 12-0 regular season and give them a Big East title, Brian Kelly bolted the Queen City for the greener pastures of Notre Dame; I believe his absence, no matter what the players are saying, will be devastating and distracting to this team.

This has been a spot that the Bearcats have struggled in all year 1-3 ATS in non-conference games.

On the other side of the field: Before taking an indefinite leave of absence, Urban Meyer will be on the sidelines with the Gators on Friday.

After a stunning 32-13 loss to Alabama that ended dreams of an undefeated season and repeat BCS championship, Florida (12-1) will look to regroup.

Florida will look to find a way to get Jeffery Demps and Chris Rainey more involved in the offense in this one after the two running backs combined for just three carries against Alabama.

The Gators can’t afford to let Cincinnati quarterback Tony Pike to get comfortable in the pocket; Florida has been equally adept, if not stronger, on the other side of the ball, where it ranks third against the pass and fourth in total defense.

In direct contrast to Cincinnati, Florida excels in this position; 3-0 ATS this year in non-conference games; when looking back further we see its a stellar 9-2 ATS in this position over the last three years!

Bottom line: The Sugar Bowl will mark the final game in Tim Tebow’s storied four-year college career. Tebow is Florida’s unquestioned offensive leader and UF’s top threat in both the running and passing game. Look for Tebow to will his teammates into not finishing the season on a negative note; look for FLORIDA to move to 3-1 ATS this year as a favorite of 10 1/2 to 21 points and for Cincinnati to fall to 2-4 ATS off a win against a conference rival this season!

9* Florida

Tony George

West Virginia -2.5

Ironic that washed up coaching dinosaur Bobby Bowden will lose his final game against his old Alma mater West Virginia, where he once was head coach. West Virginia will SHRED a pathetic run defense ranked 108th in the nation, who gives up big plays left and right every game. Look for RB Devine for WV who has had 10 career runs of 50 yards or more to slice and dice the Seminole defense. Emotion plays a part in this game, but sources tell me WV is fired up and well prepared. FSU gave up 31 ppg and 470 yards of offense and a WHOPPING 6.4 yards per rush in their last 3 game, enough said! Play 1 Unit on West Virginia.

Evan Altemus

LSU PK

Penn State simply isn’t as good as most people think they are. They were severely outclassed this season when they faced their two toughest teams on the schedule in Iowa and Ohio State. Those teams are even as physical or dominant as LSU either, which makes you wonder about this point spread. Everyone doubted LSU last year in their bowl game against Georgia Tech, but the Tigers came out and completely destroyed an overmatched Yellow Jackets team. Penn State has dearly missed their play making wide receivers this season, as they haven’t been able to open things up as much this year. The Nittany Lions really struggled when they can’t run the football, and they won’t be able to against a stout LSU rush defense. Meanwhile, the Tigers are being disrespected by the oddsmakers here based on how they finished the season. However, they were very competitive in all three losses, including a very close loss to defending national champion Florida. Look for LSU to dominate this game and get the win.

4 UNIT SELECTION LSU
