300-Unit College FB Friday Fast Cash - Louisville

Both of these teams are coming into their Big East opener off blowout wins on Saturday, but there’s a hunger in Louisville that is going to at least get them a cover tonight if not the outright win. The Cardinals are still irked over last season’s loss to the Bearcats and with the opener at home, you’ll see a very good performance from Louisville.

The Cardinals are coming in off a 34-24 road win over Arkansas State two weeks ago, cashing as 6 ½-point favorites, then destroying Memphis 56-0 at home on Saturday, easily covering as 16-point favorites. Even against stiffer competition this season, Louisville hung tight with Oregon State and Kentucky, losing to both by 7 points.

Louisville was picked to finish last in the Big East and that has been a rallying cry for the Cardinals as the conference season kicks off tonight. They piled up 573 yards of offense last week against Memphis and they are getting very good play from QB Adam Froman who has thrown for 1,177 yards and nine TDs.

Cincinnati has already looked ugly on the road this season, losing both roadies, at Fresno State and at N.C. State, failing to cash in either contest. The Bearcats did blow out Miami of Ohio on Saturday, winning 45-3 as 19 ½-point favorites.

Cincinnati has been a disaster at the betting window, going 2-8 ATS in its last 10 overall, 2-6 in Friday games, 1-5 as a favorite, 0-4 on the road and 0-6 after a straight-up win.

For Louisville, the Cardinals are on ATS surges of 4-0 after a straight-up win, 4-1 against losing teams and 7-3 in October kickoffs.

Motivation and a raucous crowd will make the difference tonight as I grab the points with Louisville and I won’t be surprised if the Cardinals even win this thing outright. Play Louisville.

The Cincinnati Bearcats were ranked to start the season, but have played nothing like a ranked team. It's obviously they were vastly overrated coming into the season. They beat up on Indiana State (missing the cover as a 45-point favorite). The Bearcats also delivered a blowout to Miami, Ohio. But they could not find the win column in their other three games. Louisville has been better than advertised this season. They lost the two games they were supposed to lose, but were in both of them. They went on the road vs. Oregon State as a three touchdown underdog but lost by just 7 points. They outgained the Beavers in that game by 134 yards, done in by a -2 turnover margin. They have great balance with Adam Froman throwing for 1,177 yards at 8.5 yards per pass, and running behind Bilal Powell who already has churned out 689 yards at 7.6 yards a carry and 7 TDs. The Bearcats haven't been covering much of anything of late at just 2-8 ATS in their last 10. The Cards’ success running the ball has bred even more success as they are 23-10 ATS after running for over 200 yards in their last game. Cincinnati is 0-2 SU and ATS on the road and they are facing a Louisville team that has shown they can play. My computer matchup for this game predicts a close game and I agree. I like the home dog here.
