There is a sleeping giant in Miami, Florida. That sleeping giant is the Florida International Golden Panthers. FIU has an explosive offense and a VERY fast defense. They are athletic from top to bottom. They have 4 fantastic running backs that are interchangeable and they have one of the best wide receivers in the entire country in T.Y. Hilton. Hilton is very elusive and he is a tough match-up for any cornerback or secondary in the country. He is also dynamic in the return game as he demonstrated last week with 2 kick returns for 92 yards. Their quarterback, Wesley Carroll is a transfer from Mississippi State. He makes good decisions and he is tough as nails.
The defense didn't allow a point last week to North Texas. North Texas scored their points by recovering fumbles and returning them for touchdowns, and they sacked the qb for a safety. FIU's speed on defense was easily noticeable. They dominated North Texas last week and they have also dominated FIU's dynamic offense in the spring game and at practice.
Louisville is still re-building. They had a winning record last year (7-6) but they lost a ton off that team. They have a new QB, new RB, 4 new OL, new LBs, and new CBs. They looked anything but dominant against Murray State last week as they won 21-9. The Cardinals started 6 players who were playing in their first ever college football game. The youth and inexperience showed as Louisville had 4 turnovers and 10 penalties. That won't get it done vs. FIU. I believe Louisville will have a better performance but it won't be enough. The wrong team is favored in this ball game. FIU will win by two touchdowns.

Louisville -3.5 (3 Units) - Everyone is on FIU because they are revamped and looked good last week. Louisville had some offensive issues last week and even though the beat Murray state they failed to cover. That won't happen tonight. We are not on the FIU bandwagon and the spread doesn't scare us.
Missouri +9.5 (2 Units) - We like Arizona state as well tonight, but not enough to give them an almost 10 point cushion. If you can get 10 points that would make it lock in our opinion. Missouri didn't look like a ranked team last week and even though they will be on the road they are fundamentally sound.
Redsox -112 (2 Units) The last time the Redsox lost 3 in a row was back in June. Lackey has not been great but neither has Wade Davis. The difference maker will be Boston's offense which has a propensity for erupting. Your not going to find these odds too many times on Boston, grab it while you can.
