MTi Sports

4* Heat Under 191

3* Clippers Under 211.5

The Timberwolves are playing the sixth game of a six-game road trip and they lost each of the first five. This is a great opportunity to avoid the O-fer trip. They have gone over the total in their last three -- in Phoenix, Portland and Denver. They were a big dog in each game and they fell behind by double-digits in each game. The Timberwolves don't need to be desperate here. They can beat the Clippers with defense and rebounding in a half-court game. If this one stays close, it should go under this number. The Clips have also gone over three straight. In their last game, they beat the Bulls 100-99, outshooting Chicago 50.7% to 47.6%. It was their second straight win in which they shot better than 50% from the field. It has jacked up this number and we'll take the line value with the UNDER. LA is 0-11 OU at home with at least one day of rest after a road win in which they shot at least 50% from the field, staying under by an average of 16.0 ppg. Also, LA is 0-6 OU (-13.4 ppg) at home when the OU line is at least nine points higher than it was last game. Finally, the Clippers are 0-4 OU (-10.8 ppg) at home after a win on the road in which Eric Gordon was NOT the Clippers' high scorer. These two are 0-4 OU their last four in LA, staying under by an average of 19.4 ppg. The OU lines in those four games were: 193.5, 202, 195 and 192 and all four stayed under by double-digits. Here we're getting a much bigger number to go under. We'll take it. MTi's FORECAST: LA CLIPPERS 102 Minnesota 97

Minnesota Vikings/Chicago Bears Under 33.5

The Bears are trying to win the NFC North, however how can anyone get over last week's embarrassing loss to the Patriots? Tonight’s game will be played at TCF bank Park, which is outdoors in Minnesota. The weather will be cold and lousy just like last week when the Patriots crushed the Bears. Chicago played horrible on defense but I don’t see Joe Webb picking them apart and Adrian Peterson is not that healthy. Earlier this season, the Bears held him to just 51 yards. I do not see the Vikings scoring much. The Bears are not worthy to be 8 point favorites on the road in these cold conditions. There will be snow tonight and winds at about 15 mph. The ball is going to be very hard and even field goals will be hard to come by. Most night games have gone way over the total, but when Vegas makes a line this low, it's not the smartest of ideas to bite and take the over. The Vikings are a mess right now with the future of their stadium unknown and not having a quarterback. With the Bears coming off of a bad home loss, look for Chicago to get just enough done to win this game with a Robbie Gould field goal. I would not be shocked to see no more than 17 points in this game. Take the Under.

Miami Heat -6.5

The Mavs have the Heat's number, however this is a different Heat team that they faced a month ago. The big 3 are starting to play well together and Dallas has not looked too impressive in the last week of play. Look for Miami to play well enough at home to get a big win and double-digit cover. Take

Duke -35

Duke is the best team in the nation and there is no way Elon will be able to hang in this game on the road. The talent is simply not there. This spread is high, however once Duke gets on a roll, they should have this number covered with no problem. Take Duke in a comfortable cover.

Dr Bob

Milwaukee +3.5

Opinion

Indiana -3½

New Orleans is just 5-10 straight up and 4-11 ATS since making the trade for guard Jarrett Jack, which changed the chemistry of a team that was 11-1 at the time (what were they thinking?). Indiana is 16-5-1 ATS after their last 22 losses and my ratings favor the Pacers by 5 ½ points.

Tony George

Utah -7

The Jazz are dominating the East with a 10-1 SU record and the Cavs playing west coast teams is just deplorable. The Jazz are 8-2-1 ATS their last 11 against the NBA Central while Cleveland has managed just 3 covered ATS their last 11 games. Cleveland's defense is not good and Utah is scoring lights out, I see an easy double digit win here for Utah. Utah has a bad spread record against the Cavs, it changes tonight. Play 1 Unit on Utah
