NEW ORLEANS SAINTS -1.5

One paper the Patriots have more talent, especially on defense. There is one single factor that leads me to pick the Saints and that is the offensive and defensive line injuries for New England. This offensive line in particular is so banged up that Brady will not have his usual time to get rid of the ball. Timing is everything in the NFL and if you do not have time or are not confident in the guys in front of you then it will hurt your overall game. The Saints have their own defensive injuries, but slowly are starting to get healthier. The fact the Saints are still undefeated and overcame so many obstacle proves they have great depth on defense. New Orleans puts pressure on the offense which is why they have so many interceptions this season. This Superdome will be as loud as it gets tonight Forget about all the superstars on both sides of the ball. The key factor in tonight‘s game will be the men in the trenches. The Saints have a huge advantage in that department. Take the Saints.

CHICAGO BULLS +3

Something has got to give here as both teams come in riding four-game losing streaks. For the Bulls, this is the finale of what is already to be a guaranteed losing six-game road swing and they have left their backers broke with four-straight non-covers. However, all four losses came against Western Conference powers, which is why the results were so lopsided. There are still some positive things going on with this team, including F Noah, who ranks near the top of the league in rebounding. Milwaukee got off to a hot start, but an injury to Andrew Bogut and opponents ability to defend rookie Jennings have made that a thing of the past. Chicago beat the Bucks early in the season back when Milwaukee was playing much better. The Bucks are just 3-11 ATS when seeking revenge for a loss by three or less. Chicago has to reverse a trend that has seen them go 0-9 ATS this year if they were an underdog in their previous game. Chicago is our 20* Central Division Game of the Month.

5* Pot of Gold Monday Night Totals Game of the Year

Patriots vs. Saints

New Orleans is virtually unstoppable at home as they have cashed winning Over the Total tickets at a (14-3) ATS rate of late and they are (4-0) ATS Over the Total in Monday Night action with a (18-8-1) ATS Over the Total mark as a home favorite. The Superdome will be a welcome venue as the Patriots are (11-5) Over the Total as road underdogs, (8-2) ATS Over the Total on field-turf surface and (5-2-1) Over the Total in Monday Night action. The Saints lead the NFL with an average of 39.7 ppg this season to date and we hope all the scoreboard bulbs are functioning for this one as the Patriots (Brady) and Saints (Brees) will light it up on Monday Night Football. Play New England - New Orleans Over the Total

5* Pot of Gold

Bulls vs. Bucks

The loss of Ben Gordon to the Pistons has hurt the offensive production of the Bulls to date this season. Chicago has dropped 4 straight to the spread and they own a (0-5) ATS mark as road underdogs tho date. Milwaukee has enjoyed the friendly confines of the Bradley Center as the Bucks are (8-2) ATS in the Brew Capital and (6-2) ATS as a favorite. HC Scott Skiles continues to make strides on the defensive end and we look for another winning ticket produced by the Bucks here. Play Milwaukee Bucks

Penn St at Virginia

Penn St is 34-18 ATS in road games vs. teams who make 37% or more of their 3 point shots. Penn St is 4-0 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. The Nittany Lions are 4-1 ATS their last 5 games vs. ACC teams and they are 9-2 ATS after scoring 80 or more points in their last game. Virginia is still a work in progress after a 10-18 record last year they brought in Tony Bennett from Washington St. to coach the team. For the Cavaliers players it will be a tough transition as they have been an up tempo team that now has to play a whole different style with Coach Bennett who prefers to walk the ball up the floor. 10* PLAY ON PENN ST +

Pittsburgh at NY Rangers

Pittsburgh is 14-3 after scoring 5 or goals in their last game and they are 24-7 vs. an opponent who allowed 5 or more goals in their last game. The Penguins are 50-22 their last 72 games and they are 7-2 when playing their third game in four nights. The Rangers are 7-19 their last 27 games after allowing or more goals in their last game and they are 2-8 when their opponent scored 5 or more goals in their last. New York is 1-4 when playing their fourth game in six days and they are 0-5 their last their last meetings with the Penguins. 10* PLAY ON PITTSBURGH -

Memphis at Utah

Utah is 15-5 OVER after scoring 100 or more points in their last game and they are 4-1 OVER when playing with one day of rest. The Jazz are 5-1 OVER off a straight up win and they are 5-1 OVER at home their last 6 meetings with the Grizzlies. Memphis is 16-7 OVER their last 23 games as underdogs of 5.0 to 10.5 and they are 8-3 OVER their last 11 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and they are 4-1 OVER when playing their second game in back to back nights. 10* NBA 'TOTAL' OF THE MONTH! KING CREOLE

3* NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

Let's first look at the UNDEFEATED aspects of this game... as the Saints are one of only two teams that has yet to taste defeat thus far in the 2009 season.

1-7 ATS since 2000: All UNDEFEATED non-division 'short' favorites of only 5 points (New Orleans).

7-1 ATS since 2004: All GAME 11 > road teams with a current W/L percentage of .700 > playing off a SUATS win (PATRIOTS)... when facing an opponent that's also .700 > on the year and also playing off a SUATS win (New Orleans).

7-0 ATS since 2001: All NFL teams playing off a SUATS double-digit home FAVORITE win... and a SU loss but ATS win in the game before that (PATRIOTS).

When AFC Teams take to the road against NFL opponents, we want to ride the VISITOR... if current YTD tendencies hold true to form.

So far THIS season: 5-0 ATS for all AFC road dogs of 7 < points (PATRIOTS).... when playing a NFC opponent that;s off a SU win (New Orleans).

NEW ORLEANS: 4-10 ATS on Mondays since 1992... 1-5 ATS as favorites... and 0-4 ATS as NON-division favorites.

NEW ENGLAND: 6-0 SU in last 6 MONDAY games... 9-3 ATS on the Monday ROAD since 1997... and 5-1 ATS as underdogs.

MATT FARGO

9* CBB WEST COAST DOMINATOR

San Jose St. has the looks of a big time sleeper team this year. The Spartans have four starters back and this team has the talent to play with some of the best around. That sounds straight about a San Jose St. team considering it won a total of 17 games in three years from 2005-2007. The Spartans have won 13 games in each of the last two seasons and injuries to key personnel during the regular season last year kept the Spartans from realizing their potential. The backcourt of Adrian Oliver and Justin Graham is one of the best in the WAC while down low, center Chris Oakes and forward C.J. Webster provide solid size and they have been rebounding machines thus far, averaging a combined 18.0 rpg. The Spartans are 2-2 on the season but both losses came on the road, one of which was by just 10 points at 14th ranked Washington. They are coming off a big win at home against Pacific over the weekend. St. Mary’s is off to a good start this season considering it is in almost complete rebuilding mode. Four starters as well as five seniors needed to be replaced from last season including all-everything point guard Patty Mills and three-time All-WCC forward Diamon Simpson. The Gaels are 4-1 but this is the first road game of the season as the first five games have all taken place at the friendly confines of McKeon Pavilion. San Jose St. does not have the best home court edge around but playing away from familiar territory for the first time on the season is a difficult task. St. Mary’s has one big thing attached to it and that is a public name meaning that the betting market will be backing the Gaels no matter what the situation because it is the known team. That sets up the lines in our favor and provides value until things start to turn the other way. The Spartans went just 7-7 at home last season but of those seven losses, six were by six points or fewer so they were very close to putting together a very good season had a few bounces gone their way. The Gaels are 0-6 ATS in their last six games on the road and this does not include going 0-4 ATS in road games after playing three or more straight games at home. San Jose St. meanwhile is 4-0 ATS in its last four games against teams with a winning record. 9* San Jose St. Spartans
