25 Units Florida State (-6) over Miami Florida
Both teams enter this game with major injuries on their defensive units and that means one thing points to a solid FSU win in this one. Florida State has a dramatically superior offense built around quarterback Christian Ponder who sitting on a break-out year behind one of the best offensive lines in the country—one that returns all five starters from last year.

1-Unit Play. Take Tampa Bay (+165) over N.Y. Yankees
1-Unit Play. Take Tampa Bay (+190) over N.Y. Yankees
This is my normal doubleheader chase. DON'T PLAY GAME 2 OF THIS DH IF WE WIN GAME 1. There has been some pitcher shuffling, so play both games as "Action".

200♦ RUTGERS - Everyone knows Rutgers will be an offensive-minded team today against a defense that has just one one starter back, so I won't touch on that ...
Instead I want to talk about Tony Pike, Cincinnati's over-hyped quarterback who is about to see his star fall this season. He's everywhere ... the cover of the media guide, every article regarding the Bearcats, the Davey O'Brien Watch List and likely on the list of every NFL scout.
Big mistake, as it's going to his head based on quotes I'm reading all over the place.
Think about it, this kid is making just his 11th start ever. Sure, this team went 11-3 last season, but the defense led the way. Now he's being called upon to not only perform on the field, but also strengthen his game mentally.
That's going to be a tough chore against a senior-laden Rutgers defense that has six starters back. The Big East media and coaches are saying this could very well be the best defense in the country.
This is the home opener, the season opener and the showcase game for the Knights to make a statement. The returners know what it's like to start on a sour note, having lost five of their first six last season - including a 13-10 setback at Cincinnati.
With revenge on the brain, and knowing they've already shut this offense down to merely nothing tells me the Knights could hold the 'Cats to 13 once again, but at home and against a depleted defense, will put up more than 10.
Lay it with Rutgers.

20* MLB No-Brainer Toronto Blue Jays -110
Take the Blue Jays over the the Twins in Toronto Monday afternoon. The Twins have been struggling on offense, hitting just .259 as a team and scoring 3.1 runs per game over their last 7 contests. They've struggled on the road all season, posting a 29-38 record, not to mention an 0-6 record at Toronto over the last 3 seasons. Scott Richmond starts for the Blue Jays, and while he doesn't have great numbers, he has put together several quality starts this season, and his low WHIP and solid K/BB ratio make him a good starter to back in the right situations. The Twins throw Jeff Manship, a guy who has decent numbers, but who has just one start (5 innings) and a few relief appearances (12 innings total this year). Toronto's offense has struggled of late, but they do have a potent line up and should pick up the win over Minnesota this afternoon
15* Texas Rangers -130 at 5DIMES
The Rangers lost 2 of 3 in their series against Baltimore, but I'm looking for them to bounce back in a big way against Cleveland tonight. Rangers' starter Tommy Hunter is 7-3 this season with a 3.14 ERA and 1.16 WHIP. He's been exception on the road in 5 starts, going 2-1 and posting a 2.20 ERA and 1.04 WHIP in those starts. The Indians throw Carlos Carrasco, who has pitched just 3 total innings in the majors this year. His only start was against the Detroit Tigers, where he allowed 6 earned runs on 9 hit and 3 walks. The Rangers are 5.5 games back of the LA Angels in the AL West and 3 games back of the Red Sox in the AL Wild Card Standings. They could really use a win in this spot against a Cleveland team that has really struggled over their last 7 games, going 2-5 while averaging just 3
