Bob Balfe

Oakland Athletics +125

Trevor Cahill is having himself a great year. In the past 25 innings, he has not let up a single run. Duensing does not have many starts under his belt this year so the pitching matchup really favors Oakland. Take the A's.

Cleveland Browns +3

Cleveland is looking to turn the corner and finally make a playoff run. I really like the Browns QB rotation for the preseason. Seneca Wallace is a great preseason QB. Wallace was a tenured backup who has steadily improved his level of play and could end up being the starter if Delhomme screws up. Cleveland has a lot of new talented guys on defense and have a lot more work to do as a team than the Packers, which is always good for preseason ball. Look for the Packers to avoid injury and the Browns to take this game a little more seriously. Take Cleveland.

Chicago Bears +3

Chicago is going to really open up their offense this year with Mike Martz as the coordinator. The Bears have good depth at the running back position which should be the difference tonight. San Diego has a few guys out on the offensive line and have ongoing contract disputes with a few key players. Look for the Bears to play the starters a little longer and to get the slight edge in points. Take Chicago.

Tony George

St Louis -1.5

Cheap number for Carpenter at home against a struggling Zambrano for the Cubbies. A Heated rivalry where the Cards always bring their A game at home for the fans in this one. Off a 3 run win last night with a weaker pitcher, I like the Cards at home to light up Zambrano and get it done by 3 to 4 runs in this one as scoring will be at a premium for the Cubs against the cards ace. Zambranos ERA is over 5 for the year and he has only won 3 games all season. Too much run support for Carpenter for the Cubs to deal with. Play 2 Units on St. Louis.
