Pick: Colts -1.5
Although it goes without saying that the injury depleted 2010 version of the Colts is unlikely to make it to the Super Bowl, they will not be an easy opponent for anyone they might face in the AFC playoffs. The reemergence of a running game, featuring Joseph Addai, who recently returned from a lengthy stint on the sidelines with a groin injury, and Dominick Rhodes will help keep the Jets just off balance enough to allow Peyton Manning to find some success in the passing game. Although the Colts secondary, which has been bitten hard by the injury bug, is a weakness, I'm not convinced that Mark Sanchez can take full advantage of that in a game of this magnitude. This game will probably not be decided until the fourth quarter, but in the end, Peyton and company will have their way.

Indianapolis -2.5
A rematch of last year's AFC title game finds the Colts hosting the Jets with New York intent on avenging a 13-point loss (as eight-points dogs) on this field. It's interesting to note that Rex Ryan's troops slipped 23 YPG defensively from last year to this. And speaking of stats, Indy enters on a super-quiet 7-0 ITS win skein in its last seven contests. They also take the field knowing that home teams in the postseason who lost SU as a playoff favorite the previous season are a rather lofty 27-10-1 ATS, including 5-0 SU and TS versus a greater than .666 opponent. In addition, Manning and the Colts have enjoyed home cooking in the postseason, too, where they are 6-2 SU and ATS under his lead, including 5-0 SU and ATS as single-digit favorites. With the Colts 5-0-1 ATS this season in games against teams with winning records, we'll stay at home with Peyton in his place here tonight. We recommend a 3-unit play on Indianapolis.
