1* South Carolina/Florida Over 51.5

The Gamecocks and Gators are already a combined 13-5 O/U in the 2010 season. The average OU line in this SEC series has been 48.9 PPG... Average combined points scored is 61.2. So the average Gamecock / Gator game has gone 'OVER' by more than double-digits (+12.3 PPG).

This is South Carolina's BEST offense in the last 4 seasons. Their 295 offensive YPG is 50 yards better than last year. Their team scoring is also UP +9 ppg compared to last year (29 ppg vs 21 ppg). On the flip side, this is not the usually stout Gamecock DEFENSE that we are used to seeing, They are allowing 70 yards MORE per game compared to last year (369 vs 301)... and are also allowing more total points-per-game. The same gioes for the Gators. they are allowing 90 MORE yards per game on defense than they did last season (292 vs 252). And Florida is also allowing 7 MORE PPG on defense as well when compared to 2009 numbers.

After starting the season with an 'Under', the COCKS have rolled to a 6-1 o/U record in their last 7 games. Average OU margin in those games is +5.0 PPG. The GAMECOCKS are also 7-1 O/U playing off a SU loss of 20 > pts... 10-4-1 O/U in their last 15 road games... 6-2 O/U in November... and 5-1 o/U after allowing 40+ pts.

The GATORS have gone OVER in their last two games by margins of +23 and +15 points. Florida is 7-1 O/U after accumulating 450+ total yards of offense... 6-1 O/U in their last 7 roles as a favorite... 5-1 O/U after allowing < 20 pts in their last game... and 10-4 O/U in November.

Florida has recently moved into a 3-headed QB 'monster' as of late. And they have successfully shifted to a UPTEMPO no-huddle attack on offense. Throw in the fact that South Carolina has a banged-up, poor-covering secondary that has allowed 300 or more passing yards in 5 of their last 6 games... and we have the ingredients for a HIGH-scoring outcome.

3 Units Weber St. +13.5

Utah State has a significant advantage in experience, but Weber State has the best player on the floor in star point Damian Lillard. He is projected to be an NBA 1st round draft pick when declares and will make up for the Aggies edge in experience. Utah State returns four starters, but they lost their star point guard. Taking the point guard spot will be JUCO transfer Brockeith Pane. Lillard will be able to do whatever he wants against Pane, which will keep the Wildcats in the game. Weber State only returns one other starter and that is forward Kyle Bullinger. However, the Wildcats have experience in the other players taking over new starting as roles, as those players will be juniors and seniors. Another key to take note of is that Weber State's head coach Randy Rahe is a former assistant of Utah State head coach Stew Morrill and both coaches run the exact same system. Last year these two teams played twice with both games being fairly competitive. Weber State didn't lose either of those games by this point spread though, losing by 12 points and 6 points. This game is also the first of the year for both teams, so I don't expect the Aggies to be motivated to blowout the Wildcats. Lillard and Weber State's knowledge of what Utah State wants to do will keep them close enough in this game to cover the point spread.
