Maryland vs. Wake Forest
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
The Wake Forest offense was struggling a bit at the start of the season but now has hit their stride. Maryland does not have the talent on offense to keep up with the veteran Wake team.. Look for Riley Skinner to have a huge offensive game. Take Wake Forest.

Stanford vs. Oregon St
Play: Oregon St +1
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
For a number of different reasons I feel the value in this game is on the home side: Stanford is unbeaten in the Pac 10 and is 4-1 overall, however I look for the Cardinal to have a letdown in this one as Oregon State keys in on their strong running game. The Beavers are one of only five FBS division teams that hasn’t lost a fumble yet this season. That has contributed to the Beavers being 3-0 this season when they have fewer turnovers than their opponent. OSU is also converting on 94 % of its possessions that reach the red zone, inside the opponent’s 20-yard line. On their 18 drives that got that far, the Beavers have 12 TD's and five FG's; the second-best % in the Pac-10. OSU ranks 12th in the nation in rushing defense, allowing an average of 87.4 yards per contest, and this will be the deciding factor in this game I believe. Dating back to last season Oregon State is 10-3 SU its last 13 overall, 17-4 SU its last 21 overall and is 9-3 ATS its last 12 vs. Stanford. On the other side of the field: Is Stanford better than expected or just the product of a soft early schedule? Stanford tailback Toby Gerhart will be the target of the Beavers’ defense, which means redshirt quarterback Andrew Luck will have even more responsibility. The Cardinal defense has played decently, but it has yielded considerable yardage on the ground and has not faced a running back as good as Oregon State’s Jacquizz Rodgers, the Pac-10’s offensive player of the year last season as a freshman. Stanford's achilles heel has been its play on the road; not only are the Cardinal a horrible 3-8 ATS their last 11 on the road, they are also a putrid 1-5 SU their last six away from friendly confines! Bottom Line: Oregon State is notorious for starting slowly and then building momentum as the season progresses. The Beavers lost to Stanford 36-28 in last years season opener, but played much better down the stretch. A loss and the Beavers are out of title contention while a win puts them back in the race; look for Oregon St to move to 6-1 ATS its last seven when playing at home against the Cardinals! *10* Oregon St.

Michigan vs. Iowa

While Iowa seems to get up for big games and struggle with teams they should beat (damn near lost to Arkansas St. last week at home) The Wolverines defense will give Iowa QB Stanzi all kinds of issues with their speed. Iowa 5-0 SU but only signature win over Penn State who they always beat or play tough. Iowas defense not able to defend spread attack well, as last year they got beat SU by Northwestern and Illinois who run a simular offense. Michigan capable to trade punches on offense and keep it tight. An outright win would not surprise me as Michigan played poorly last week...they will be focused.

Arizona vs. Washington

The Wildcats travel to Seattle to meet the Huskies in a key PAC 10 clash at Husky Stadium this evening. Arizona enters tonight's contest off a win at Oregon State State last week while Washington looks to rebound from a disappointing overtime loss at Notre Dame. That sets the table for tonight's play as our database reminds us that .400 or greater overtime losers at home in a conference game the following week are 4-25 ATS if they allowed 35 or more point sin the loss, including 1-18 ATS when hosting a .600 or greater opponent since the inception of OT in college football. With the Huskies having been outstatted in each of their last four games, look for the Wildcats to improve to 7-0 ATS as a visitor in this series here tonight.

Fresno St vs. Hawaii

You'll have to schedule Pat Hill's Bulldogs for scheduling UC Davis in its opener (51-0 win) for its next three games were a very difficult trek, which is really nothing new for this school. In three SU losses to Wisconsin, Boise State and Cincinnati, they have beaten the spread in both road games and the game vs. Boise was much closer than that final score might indicate (ran for 320 yards and outgained the Broncos). In fact, FSU ran for a collective 790 yards in those games at a very strong 5.9 yard clip. They have three backs - Matthews, Rouse and Miller - who all have over 100 yards and rush for at least 6.2 YPC. Now this is a steep drop in class against a Hawaii team that allowed Louisiana Tech to run for 352 yards last Friday, most of it through the trenches. The Bulldogs remember this game last year, where they lost outright as 21 point home favorites in overtime and certainly do not want a repeat. In fact, they outgained the Warriors by 180 total yards that day, only to be undone by six turnovers. We haven't even gotten to the real story of this game yet and that would be the loss of QB Gregg Alexander for the season for Hawaii. Alexander and the passing game were certainly the strength of this team as running the ball and defense certainly are not, so his loss is crushing for a team that only beat FCS Central Arkansas by five and whose only FBS win came against sorry Washington State. The school has uncharacteristically already made two extended week-plus trips to the mainland this year, which has disrupted practice cycles. Fresno State is our 25* WAC Game of the Year.
