BIG AL

Non Conference GOY - Temple

To say the Owls have revenge would be a massive understatement. After all, the Nittany Lions have won 28 straight games in this series. But after knocking on the door last year, this should be the one where Temple finally kicks it in. In 2010, Temple held a 13-12 lead late in the 3rd quarter before falling 22-13. That game, though, was in Happy Valley; Saturday's game is at home at Lincoln Financial Field. And the Owls come into this game with a lot of momentum following two blowout wins over Villanova and Akron (by a combined score of 83-10. And one of the things I love to do is play on certain home teams off back to back wins by a large margin. Indeed, Temple falls into several of my best momentum systems which have records of 120-72, 42-6, 16-0, 119-51, 22-0 and 64-33 ATS, as well as a super 68% ATS System which we used to great success last year with SMU over TCU. And that 68% system plays on home dogs of 7+ points, off back to back wins of more than a TD, if they're matched up against a non-conference foe. Of course, Al Golden laid the groundwork at Temple, and his success led the University of Miami to hire him. But his replacement, Steve Addazio, might prove to be even better. Addazio arrived after a successful tenure as Florida's offensive coordinator, and the Gators won two national titles with him at the helm. Additionally, assistant Scott Loeffler is doing a masterful job with the offense. Loeffler has an impressive CV, as he has NFL experience, in addition to being the quarterbacks coach at Florida and Michigan. Grab the points with the revenge-minded Owls. Good luck as always...Al McMordie. And don't miss any of my 12 College Football plays this week, as we look to remain red-hot (73.3% this year in College; 67% in the NFL). Or, better yet, join for a week or month to get all of our award-winning plays.
