Chip Chirimbes
USC vs. Arizona State
Play: Arizona St -2½
Southern Cal opened their season with three straight home games (all wins) and must now travel to Tempe to play Arizona State who is coming off a disappointing loss at Illinois where they entered into Illini territory nine times but only scored twice. The Trojans have won 11 straight meetings and that is a concern as Dennis Erickson is 1-8 lifetime against the men from Troy and that is also bothersome. Still, at home after a their road loss last week the Sun Devils open the PAC-12 with a home win.

LSU -6 (3 Units) - We have seen nothing from West Virginia to warrant them winning this game or even having a chance. They play like crap in the first half and and only start to play in the second half. If they do that against LSU this game will be over by the half for sure.
Georgia Tech -7 (2 Units) - The triple option attack is off and running. GT has covered the first 3 games with ease. The North Carolina defense has some skill but Georgia Tech looks too good, especially at home to not win and cover this one.
UCLA +5 (1 Unit) - UCLA needs a win badly here. We saw that they do have some talent when they lost a heartbreaker to Houston. After what Texas did to them last week however, you can be sure they will be ready for this one. Oregon st has shown nothing worthy thus far. Wisconsin did run the score up on them which is the only reason they lost by only 35. Staying small but UCLA should win outright.
Oklahoma St +4.5 (2 Units) - Okst is getting no love on the road. This line feels too high for this highly talented Okst team. Texas A&M has not played any real competition and seemed to let up against Idaho. The Over is probably the way to go here but we are big fans of Okst and expect them to win outright as well. QB Brandon Weeden and WR Justin Blackmon will light it up for sure.
Oregon -15.5 (3 Units) - Oregon is still steeming over that opening week defeat to LSU. The offense has had 2 weeks to work out the kinks and while Arizona is only about a 2 TD underdog they will need about 4 TDs to cover this game. Oregon in a romp for sure.

For a coach that prides himself on defense, Bo Pelini's team sure hasn't showed much of that prideful defense this season, as the Cornhuskers were gouged for 29-points at home against Fresno State, and they just surrendered 38-points last weekend in Lincoln to the Washington Huskies.
I think Nebraska is simply laying too many points this afternoon in Laramie against a Wyoming team that is off to their first 3-0 start in over a decade. Cowboys coach Dave Christensen is 13-7 against the spread in the role of underdog since taking over the reins in Wyoming in 2009, and they will have the added benefit of playing this game in some colder temperatures and at altitude to boot!
Of course the Huskers simply have too much pedigree for the Cowboys at the end of the day, but getting right around three full scores at War Memorial Stadium versus a Nebraska team that no doubt will have one eye looking ahead to next week's Big 10 conference debut at Wisconsin is the way to go in this game.
Nebraska is a mediocre 6-5 against the spread the past two seasons when listed as the road favorite, and the way their defense has been springing leaks, they will not be able to pull away from the upstart home underdog tonight in Laramie. Take the points straight to the bank as the Big Play Specialist comes through once again.
