The Eagles are one of the top teams in the league and they are interestingly enough a team built to play in a dome. Dallas has improved the last several weeks but has been extremely fortunate as well. Look for that to end here.
Philadelphia has extra rest coming into this one as well after a 34-24 win over Houston last Thursday night . However they trailed 24-20 entering the fourth quarter. One reason for the close game was that Houston scored all touchdowns on all three red zone attempts. The Eagles are 7-0 ATS (11.2 ppg) since December 7, 2008 when they won last game despite allowing their opponent to scored TD on all red zone attempts.
Philly picked up 22 first downs in the win. The Eagles are 9-0 ATS (5.3 ppg) since December 2006 when they had 20 or more first downs last game and trailed after the third quarter.
Dallas meanwhile picked up 24 first downs in an overtime win over Indianapolis last week. Dallas, like every other team, struggled to get to Peyton Manning, and did not pick up a sack. The Cowboys are 0-13 ATS (-10.4 ppg) since December 10, 1995 when they had 24+ first downs last game and less than two sacks.
Dallas was extremely disciplined in the game with no turnovers and just five penalties. The Cowboys are 0-12 ATS (-9.9 ppg) since October 29, 2000 when they did not turn the ball over last game and had five or fewer penalties.
Indianapolis mistakes led to a 17-0 lead for Dallas early in that game and managed to keep controlling the ball with just three punts. The Cowboys are 0-8 ATS (-10.6 ppg) since November 14,1993 when they led by double-digits after the first game and punted four or fewer times.
