8* Philadelphia Flyers

The Bulldog’s Five Factor Analysis: 1) A huge revenge spot for the Flyers here as the Blackhawks defeated them in the Stanley Cup Finals that wrapped up last June. 2) This one sets up very well as the Flyers are off of a 3-1 home loss yesterday while the Blackhawks are off of a huge 4-1 road win at Detroit – a huge rival of Chicago’s. 3) Philadelphia had won 8 of their last 9 games before losing to a resurgent Devils team yesterday. Without a doubt, the Flyers got caught looking ahead to this huge opportunity for revenge in Sunday’s action. 4) Though the Blackhawks have now won two straight games they had previously lost five of their last nine games. Chicago has lost three of the last four times it’s transitioned from a road setting to a home game. The Hawks have allowed 21 goals the last five times they’ve been in this transition. Now, after the huge win at Detroit last night, watch the Blackhawks fall flat at home and give up a pile of goals to a hungry Flyers club that seeks revenge. 5) Philadelphia is 16-6 this season in games against teams with a winning record. Also, the Flyers are off of the home loss to the Devils yesterday and note that Philly has lost back to back games just once since late November! Also, the Flyers are 5-1 the last six times they are off of a game where they were held to two goals or less. Play Philadelphia on the money line as an 8* Regular Play selection.

Jets at Steelers
Pick: Jets +4

The Jets have won four of their last five games both straight up and against the spread, including wins at New England, at Indy and at Pittsburgh. Think about that for a second on the road against Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and Ben Roethlisberger in the span of five weeks. The lone loss during this stretch was at Chicago in a 38-34 thriller. Obviously, we see how the Bears are playing. I thought the Steelers were fortunate to beat the Ravens, who self-destructed after leading by 14 at halftime. Jets win outright and we'll gladly take the points!
