Cincinnati +3 over Baltimore
The Ravens have proven they can play offense this season, but in the process have lost a bit on defense. Cincinnati appears to be more balanced in this matchup and I expect big things from Benson running the rock today. The Bengals have a good size advantage and should get a big win at home. Take the Bengals.

Green Bay/Tampa Under 43.5
This game will showcase four really good cover cornerbacks. Green Bay will be without their starting center which will slow up the timing and rhythm on offense. The Bucs wide receivers are a little banged up and with a young QB its going to be hard to score touchdowns. Look for Tampa to play better today, but a lot of things would have to go right for this game to be high scoring. Take the Under.

Carolina +13 over Saints
Upset Alert!! The Panthers are coming off a big win and will need to win if they want any shot at a wildcard. New Orleans is really good, but half of their success is because of bad teams on their schedule and their defense scoring in every game this season. The Saints have some defensive line issues and will be going against a good Panthers Defense who plays New Orleans two times a year and knows Brees better than any other team in the league. It is hard to go undefeated and the pressure mounts more and more each week. The money line would be a huge play as it is +500. We have been on a roll and I think it is worth a shot! Take the Panthers and if you are feeling really lucky take the moneyline!

Philadelphia/Dallas Over 50
The Eagles have gone half the season without their patched up defense really being tested much. Today that all changes. Dallas has a huge size advantage on offense and will be going against a beat-up Eagles D-Line. Look for the Cowboys to run the ball at will which will set up Romo and the passing game. On offense the Eagles are young, but have tremendous playmakers. You cannot teach speed which Philly has a lot of. The Eagles will get Westbrook back tonight and there is going to be a lot of scoring. Take the Over.

30 Dime: Atlanta Falcons -10

I understand that the falcons are slightly banged up right now, but trust me when I tell you that they will crush the hopeless redskins on Sunday. This offense is great when they play at home and the Washington offense speaks for itself: 13.7 points per game, 93 rushing yards per game, and they rank 20th with their passing game accumulating a whopping 202 yards per contest. Atlanta is going to take out a lot of frustration on the skins on Sunday. Take the birds minus the number.

10 Dime: New Orleans Saints -13

We all know about the Saints ability to run circles around teams and light up the scoreboard on offense, but something tells me that the panthers O-line will have Jake Delhomme running for his life on Sunday, possibly creating a few turnovers or even a pick-6. New Orleans on the turf+ a horrible Carolina team in a position to give up on the year= an ugly beat down.

Sunday Night Smash

Cowboys at Eagles
Pick: Eagles -3

Philly won 44-6 against the Cowboys to make the playoffs last season and while the Cowboys would like to have revenge here, I just don't see it happening in Philly Sunday night. The Eagles destroyed the Giants 40-17 last week and I see not letdown here as they look to take over sole possession of first place. The Cowboys are just 1-5 ATS in the last 6 meetings and an awful dog at 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games as an underdog. Meanwhile, the Eagles are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games as a home favorite. The key to a win for Philly is its ability to get to the QB which enables it to be successful in defending the pass. And Dallas is 0-6 ATS vs. good passing defenses allowing 5.7 or less passing yards per attempt over the last 2 seasons. Lay the number.

Andre Gomes

SFX / TEN Under 41

The matchup between these two teams automatically turns this game into a potential low scoring game, as both teams are run mired teams who really can't put big numbers with their passing game. To make this simple, the 49ers want their RB Frank Gore to carry the load, while the Titans will run Chris Johnson and LenDale White time after time.

The Titans are 4-3 Over this season and their dreadful record is explained by their horrible defense, as they are allowing 30.1 points per game. However, note that there is a huge difference in this team in terms of pass defense and run defense. The Titans are dead last in the pass defense rankings by allowing 282.4 yards per game and through the season there were multiple injuries in their secondary line that hurt them big time. Luckily for them, DB's Cortland Finnegan and Vincent Fuller returned to action last week after injuries, which helped them shore the back end up last week. Suddenly they allowed only 116 passing yards last week against the Jaguars and that wasn't a huge surprise for me. Also the 49ers are a poor passing team, as they are 25th in the NFL in passing averaging only 175 YPG. QB Alex Smith is their new quarterback and head Coach Mike Singeltary doesn't like to take risks with his quarterback. Meanwhile, the Titans have a decent run defensive unit by allowing 112.4 rushing yards per game and they will face a one dimensional offensive team today.

San Francisco would love Frank Gore to carry the ball 20+ times and with the Titans giving up 216 rushing yards last week against the Jags, the Niners will try to exploit that. However San Francisco doesn't have a good offensive line that can block and protect the quarter back and that is why they are only averaging 100.4 rushing yards per game, despite being a run oriented team.

In his first start of the season, Vince Young had a solid game, but head coach Jeff Fisher made a nice decision of not taking risks with him, as he rather preferred their RB's to run the show, as Tennessee ran the ball 49 times in their win over Jacksonville and Vince Young attempted only 18 passes. I don't expect a dramatic change to happen today because after all, we are talking about the winning formula of this team that originated their only win of the season. Chris Johnson enjoyed a huge game with 228 rushing yards, but he also carried the ball 24 different times. For this week, I don't expect him to have a similar game because not only because he may struggle a bit due to his usage last week, but also because the Niners have the second best run defense of the league allowing just 84.9 yards per game.

In this contest we have two one dimensional offensive teams facing each other and this will prevent big plays to happen. Both will try to run and keep the clock running while a low scoring game is about to happen. Take the under in here.
