1 Unit on Chicago White Sox -126

The Sox have won 13 of their last 16 against the Mariners and should continue their dominance in the series with former Cy Young winner Jake Peavy on the mound. Peavy is 4-1 (5-1 on the money line) with an ERA of 1.99 in 6 career starts against Seattle. In addition, the White Sox are 5-1 in Peavy's last 6 road starts. We'll bet Chicago.

White Sox at Mariners
Prediction: Under

The White Sox come off an 8-0 loss in Anaheim to the Angels yesterday -- and the Under is 13-4-2 in Chicago's last 19 games after a game where they failed to score more than two runs. The Under is also 20-7-3 in the White Sox's last 30 games coming off a defeat. These situational team trends complement the strong tendency for the White Sox to play Unders on the road: the Under is a whopping 40-15-2 in Chicago's last 57 road games against teams with a losing record. The White Sox are 34-29 on the road -- and the Under is a decisive 40-24-4 in Seattle's last 68 home games against teams with a winning record on the road. The Mariners send out Charles Furbush who looks to rebound from a rough outing where he allowed five runs in just three innings of work but he should do better in the friendly environment in Safeco Field where he boasts a 1.47 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and .198 opponent's batting average. Considering that the Under is 9-1-1 in the last eleven meetings between these two teams in Seattle, the Under presents a nice proposition this evening. Take the Under while listing both starting pitchers Charles Furbush and Jake Peavy.
