Ohio at Kent St.
Play: Kent St.

5* graded play on Kent State as they take on Ohio University set to start at 11 AM EST. Our proprietary sports handicapping model and simulator shows a high probability that Kent State will lose this game by fewer than 3 points and has a strong opportunity to win the game. Supporting this graded play is a system that has produced a record of 38-10 ATS for 79.2% winners since 2000. Play on home dogs after 2 consecutive games where they forced 1 or less turnovers facing an opponent after 2 consecutive games where they forced 3 or more turnovers. Here is a money line system that supports Kent?s bid for an upset win and has produced a 31-7 record for 19.8 units since 2000. Play against a road team using the money line that is an average offensive team gaining between 330 to 390 yards per game facing a good defense allowing 280 to 330 yards per game after 7+ games of he regular season and after being outgained by opponent by 125 or more total yards last game. Take Kent State.

New Orleans Hornets at Portland Trail Blazers
Prediction: Portland Trail Blazers

When the Trailblazers host the Hornets in Portland Friday night they will take the court with revenge from a 20-point loss they suffered earlier this season at New Orleans. That's good news for Blazers' backers considering the Hornets are 0-4 SU and ATS in this series in followup affairs after having knocked of Portland in an earlier meeting. With the Trailblazers having had six days off since it's last game, a 103-94 home loss to Utah, look for the Trailblazers to get back on the win track here tonight. We recommend a 1-unit play on Portland.

Boise State vs. Nevada
Play: Nevada +14

While Auburn and Oregon go earlier in the day, there could be some scoreboard watching from Boise St. to see if either of those teams went down but there should not be any motivational difference win or lose from those two undefeated teams. Boise St. has one task at hand and that is to win, where it has won 10 straight in this series. The last time the Broncos came to Reno, they were 6.5-point favorite and left with a touchdown victory. Has the disparity of these two teams grown by a touchdown since then? Boise St. may have gotten better but not by a ton as the Broncos went perfect during that regular season as well and its only loss came in the Poinsettia Bowl against TCU by a point. I know Nevada is better this season however as the Wolf Pack are 10-1 this season after going 7-5 in the regular season back in 2008. Even in 2006 when Boise St. was a perfect 13-0 and Nevada was 8-3 coming into this game, the Work Pack were only 2.5-point underdogs. This shows how much these lines are overadjusted. The Broncos have rolled over nearly everyone in their path as they have compiled an 8-2 ATS record which includes a perfect 4-0 away from home. Maybe the inflated numbers don’t matter in the case of Boise St. until you look at the schedule and see those true road games came against Wyoming, New Mexico St., San Jose St. and Idaho. Those first three teams have a combined six wins this season and overall, the four teams have a combined record of 11-34. you can’t fault the Broncos but wins and covers can be deceiving. One argument you will hear is that Nevada has a great rushing attack but it is negated as the Broncos are excellent against the run. The Wolf Pack are fourth in the country in rushing offense while Boise St. is first in rushing defense. That is certainly a concern but Boise St. has faced only one team with a rushing offense ranked better than 42nd in the nation in rushing offense and that came against Virginia Tech, which is 19th, in the first game of the season. The Hokies ran for 128 yards, the second most allowed this season. On the other side, Nevada has a very average defense and it is going to take something special to stop the Broncos offense which is 4th in the nation in total offense and second in scoring offense. The Wolf Pack are ranked 67th in total defense and 38th in scoring defense and to be fair, this will be the best offense it has seen as the schedule has played a part in those rankings, similar to the Boise St. rankings. The Nevada offense has the ability, unlike other teams Boise St. has faced, to play catch up with a potent offense. Nevada has been favored by double-digits in seven of its 11 games this season and has been an underdog only once, by 2.5 points at home against California in a game it won by 21 points. This is a very big switch and the Wolf Pack fall into a great based on the big line that is arguably unjustified. Play on home underdogs of 10.5 to 21 points after two or more consecutive straight up wins, after the first month of the season. This situation is 31-9 ATS (77.5 percent) over the last 10 seasons with the average point differential bring a touchdown. 3* Nevada Wolf Pack

Boise St. @ Nevada
Pick: Nevada +14.5

Boise State very well could be the best team in the country. But the oddsmaker is asking too much of the Broncos making them lay two touchdowns on the road against Nevada in Reno.

This is a very tough road venue to win at. Believe me, I know from having been to many Wolf Pack games. It's not a fluke that Nevada has won 11 in a row at home.

The 19th-ranked Wolf Pack haven't had a team this strong in 20 years. This is their best team since joining the FBS in 1992.

Quarterback Colin Kaepernick and running back Vai Taua are as good as skill position players as Boise State has.

Kaepernick is just 16 rushing yards short of becoming the first player in FBS history with three seasons of at least 2,000 passing yards and 1,000 rushing yards. Taua is the NCAA's active career leader with 24 games above 100 yards rushing. He's tied for first in the nation this season in touchdowns with 19.

No WAC team has played Boise State more tough recently than Nevada. Three years ago Boise State had to go four overtimes before nipping the Wolf Pack by two points. Nevada lost to the Broncos by a touchdown at home two years ago and last year Nevada lost by 11 points at Boise. The Wolf Pack have averaged six yards per rush during these last three years against the Broncos.

Boise State has a vastly superior defense, especially in the secondary. But the Wolf Pack offense can match the Broncos' production. The Broncos rank No. 2 in scoring and fourth in total offense. Nevada is fourth in scoring and third in total offense.

New Orleans vs. Portland
Play: Under 189

A pair of dynamite defensive teams meet in the Northwest: Portland is 9th in the NBA in points allowed, New Orleans 3rd (91 ppg). The Hornets are 9-5 under the total plus riding a 3-0 run under. The intense Hornets allow .435% shooting by opponents, sixth best in the league. Look for a fierce defensive effort from both teams, Play the Hornets/Blazers Under the total.

Auburn vs. Alabama
Play: Auburn +4

This is a big match up down South as Auburn is looking to stay in contention for the national championship game. Auburn is is 11-0 on the year as they head to big rival Alabama. Alabama is the defending national champion and the number 11 team in the league. At 9-2 a win over Auburn would go a long way to getting back in the top 10 and a major bowl game. Look for Alabama to fall once again to an SEC opponent as Auburn is simply too good this year. Play Auburn

Western Michigan vs. Bowling Green
Play: Western Michigan -7

Bowling Green has no home field advantage and they stand an awful 6-20 ATS in their past 26 home games, including 1-3 SU/ATS this season. The Falcons have nothing to play for today with a 2-9 SU record and it appears they are wearing down as they have been out gained by -283 and -157 total yards in their past two games and by -580 total yards in the past four games, while going 1-3 SU/ATS. Bowling Green is a bad team on both sides of the ball. They are averaging just 22.5 points per game and only 4.2 yards per play (versus opponents that allow 26.8 ppg and 5.4 yppl). The Falcons have perhaps the worst rushing offense in the nation with just 58 yards per game and only 2.0 yards per rush (versus opponents that allow 146 yards and 3.9 ypr). Bowling Green also struggles to throw the ball as they average only 5.8 yards per pass (versus opponents that allow 7.0 ypp), so it will be difficult for Bowling Green to catch up once they get behind today. Western Michigan is only 5-6 SU this season, but they have been strong in conference games, outscoring MAC opponents 35.9-21.4 points per game on average, compared to a Bowling Green squad that stands 1-6 SU versus MAC opponents, being outscored 19.4-29.4 points per game. The Broncos average 31.5 points per game (versus opponents that allow just 29.4 ppg) and they should have no problem moving the ball against a bad Bowling Green defense that permits 32.9 points per game and 431 yards per game and 6.1 yards per play (versus opponents that average just 26.1 ppg and 375 yards and 5.5 yppl).

Dallas Mavericks vs. San Antonio Spurs
Play: San Antonio Spurs -4

While many try to guess when the Spurs will have their long 12 game winning steak snapped and who will do it I will just cap their game one at a time. Dallas applies to a system that dates to 1990 which plays against road dogs of less than 5 that come in off a road dog win and a prior home favored win and ats loss. These teams fail over 82% of the time. Dallas has been solid on the road and come in off the upset win in OK.City. The Spurs squeaked out a win at Minnesota. The Spurs are 7-1 at home this season and have been clicking on all cylinders right now. Lay the small number.

EZWINNERS

Pittsburgh Panthers -3

The offensive line has been a huge problem for West Virginia as their offense has been sputtering. West Virginia running back Noel Devine has gone three games without reaching 100 yards rushing, and the passing game has been almost non existent. The Panthers defense should be able to keep the Mountaineers struggling on the offensive side of the ball and their offense should be able to put some points on the board against the West Virginia defense. The Pittsburgh offense is potent and ranks fourth in the nation in passing efficiency. The Panthers have won two straight back yard brawls and I look for them to make it three in a row. Lay the points.

1 Unit on Boise State -14

The Broncos can make a big statement with a big win over Nevada. With a chance to move up into the third spot in the BCS poll, I fully expect the Broncos to be all business tonight.

It's not always apples for apples when comparing results of games against like opponents, but in this case I think it tells the story. Nevada lost by 6 points to a Hawaii team that Boise State clubbed 42-7. Also, Nevada only defeated a Fresno State team by 1 point that Boise kicked 51-0. This tells us that the Broncos are more than capable of blowing out this Nevada team.

While the last 3 meetings between these teams have been decided by 11 or fewer points, that certainly hasn't been the norm in this matchup. The Broncos have won 10 in a row against the Pack by an average of 29.0 points.

The Broncos are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 meetings with Nevada, including a perfect 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings at Nevada. This Boise State team is special, and I expect it to show the nation just how special tonight. Lay the points.

Arizona State - over UCLA

The Bruins could be down another QB as Richard Brehaut left last week's loss. UCLA still can reach a bowl game with wins in the next two games but Arizona State's postseason hopes are already cashed since they played two FCS teams. UCLA won 23-13 last season at home in a fairly even statistical game and the Bruins have actually covered in six of the last seven meetings between these teams. Arizona State has had almost two weeks to prepare for this game and this has been a team that has played tough with several top teams. ASU has one-point losses to Wisconsin and USC on the road while also giving Stanford and Oregon very tough games. Wins from UCLA over Texas and Houston no longer look impressive.

Colorado at Nebraska
Prediction: Nebraska

It was a tough loss for the Cornhuskers last week, and there's more than a few conspiracies circulating with the officiating as Nebraska is leaving the Big 12 after this season, but regardless of what happened last week we think the Cornhuskers will rebound with a big win here. This is the last regular season game in the Big 12 for Nebraska, and we think they are going to pound Colorado on the ground much like Baylor did when they put up 309 rushing yards on the Buffaloes. Huskers go out in style!

Arizona Wildcats at Oregon
Prediction: Oregon

Arizona is 7-3 straight up this year. The Wildcats are 4-9 ATS their last 13 road games and they are 2-6 ATS their last 8 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. The Wildcats are 1-4 ATS their last 5 November games. Oregon is 10-0 straight up this year. The Ducks are 9-2 ATS off a bye week. Oregon is 27-10 ATS their last 37 games after passing for less 170 yards in their last game. The Ducks are 7-2 ATS after allowing less than 20 points in their last game.

Northern Illinois -24

There's not a team in the land that wants to play Northern Illinois right now. The Huskies are 9-2 this season, outscoring their opponents 36.4 PPG to 19.9 PPG on average. Northern Illinois has won 8 straight games and are 8-0-1 ATS in their last 9 games overall. During this 8-game winning streak, five of those wins have come by 26 points or more. Against MAC opponents this season, UNI is outscoring them 44.4 PPG to 17.7 PPG or an average of 26.7 PPG. They should have no problem winning by that margin against Eastern Michigan Saturday.

EMU is 2-9 this season, getting outscored 20.5 PPG to 41.5 PPG or an average of 21.0 PPG. Common opponents is a great way to compare teams, and these two schools have faced the same five teams this year. Northern Illinois is 5-0 SU & 4-0-1 ATS against common opponents, outscoring them by 27.4 PPG. EMU is 0-5 SU & 2-3 ATS against the same teams that UNI has played, getting outscored by 23.4 PPG. All this adds up to yet another blowout win for the Huskies, who are coming off 35-point and 38-point blowouts in each of their last 2 contests, respectively. Bet Northern Illinois Friday.
