Monday freebie is the Over in the Vikings-Giants game.

Why not?

Minnesota dating back to the preseason has gone Over the posted total in 7 straight contests, and they will be facing a Giants team that is allowing nearly 35 points per game this year.

The last 4 games played at MetLife Stadium for the G-Men have all gone Over the total, and on the flip side of the coin the Giants get to face a Minnesota team that is allowing over 31 points per game thus far this season.

The Over on Monday night is 3-1 the past 4 weeks, and 5-2 overall for the season.

All Day Adrian Peterson can score from anywhere on the field. Josh Freeman will want to make a good 1st impression in a Minnesota uniform, so expect the Vikes to get their chances.

Throw in the turnover factor - Eli Manning with 15 of them in 6 games - and there should be plenty of scoring opportunities in this game.

Minnesota-New York to head Over the total.

Minnesota / NY Giants Under 47.5

Let's buck the public and play with the sharps tonight who are on the under in this game. An astonishing 75% of the money on this game is on the over and when that many people think that something is a lock it usually isn't. All the stats and trends point to the over but with Josh Freeman making his first start for Minnesota we expect to see heavy doses of Adrian Peterson and not much passing from the Vikings and that will keep the clock moving. Giants have struggled to score against everybody other than Chicago and we see more of the same tonight. Take the under in tonight's Monday night Game.

Your Monday free play winner is the Over in the Vikings-Giants game.

Both defenses have played below average this season, allowing 30 ppg over their last three. Shoot, the Giants and Vikings have allowed less than 30 points only once this season!!

Granted, I realize that these two offenses haven't exactly been anything to write home about, but with the turnovers I expect out of Eli Manning again tonight, the Vikings might score 10 points just off defense and special teams.

Same goes for the Giants defense that already has one TD this year... why not another against an offense that will be led by Josh Freeman?!?!

One of these teams is going to get down by double digits early, and likely be forced to throw a bunch. That will result in either some turnovers or some long TDs against soft secondaries.

Lots of points tonight in New York. Take the OVER as your free play of the day.
