The Cleveland State Vikings went 14-18 last season but that was a team that had little depth and fell apart after losing forward Anton Grady for the season after six games. Grady is now back, as are the two leading scorers for the Vikings last year including excellent point guard Charlie Lee, who led the Horizon League in assists. CSU also brings in two very good transfers in Trey Lewis from Penn State and Jon Harris from Miami-Ohio. The Iona Gaels made their second straight NCAA Tournament appearance last season, but that was a team that went just 11-7 in the MAAC before getting hot to win the MAAC Tournament to get the automatic berth. Iona is a team that needs to play up-tempo, but we look for Lee and the Vikings to successfully slow this pace at home. Cleveland State is 4-0 ATS in its last four games vs. the MAAC.
