Team Alfredsson ML & Team Alfredsson -1.5
The NHL just conducted its fantasy draft for Sunday’s All-Star game. You can tell from watching it that Daniel Alfredsson and Henrik Lundqvist had a game plan while Zdeno Chara was seemingly clueless. Looking at the game from a betting perspective (lines have yet to be released), I think Team Alfredsson has the clear edge. They are playing the game in Ottawa with five Senators slated to suit up making chemistry head and shoulders higher on Team Alfredsson. Not only is the entire Ottawa first line with Alfredsson, but the Sedin twins are as well. One of the glaring shortcomings I see with Team Chara is its defense. If I had to make the line I would make Alfredsson in the neighborhood of -135. I'll be on that side as well as the puck line for a unit apiece.
