24 Dallas at Florida
The Panthers have a net 33 goal advantage on the season vs the Stars. Dallas has won just 4 of 15 games on the road this season. That includes dropping 7 of 8 as of late. The Stars beat the Panthers 6-5 in a shootout just eight days ago in Dallas.
Florida is an outstanding 19-3-0 at home this season. The only defeat the Panthers have tasted since December 17th was against these Stars. Both teams play again on Saturday with Dallas traveling to Tampa Bay, while the Panthers host the Blue Jackets.
Florida has a 0.96 G+-/60 advantage on the season, and a .50 expected goals per 60 edge in 5x5 play. Look for the dominant host to come out on fire in this one.

GOLDEN ST. @ CHICAGO | 01/14 | 7:30 PM EST
CHICAGO -150
ANALYSIS: I'm still debating whether to play tonight's Warriors-Bucks game, but I'm going to jump this Friday line now ahead of that one (some books won't do lookahead lines when a team is in action that night so take advantage if yours does). Only bad things can happen to the Warriors on Thursday in Milwaukee and we already know that Klay Thompson (rest) and Draymond Green (injured) will not play Friday. It wouldn't shock me if a few other Warriors sit out.

DALLAS @ FLORIDA | 01/14 | 7:00 PM EST
FLORIDA -189
ANALYSIS: Dallas won a wild home game vs. Florida about a week ago, but the Stars have just four road wins and are missing a couple of their top-six forwards. Florida is a Terminator at home with just three losses and also nearly at full strength from COVID/injury. We're taking this early because I expect it to be north of -200 by the morning.

QUINNIPIAC @ RIDER | 01/14 | 7:00 PM EST
RIDER -1
ANALYSIS: Being honest, I don't really love anything on the board today as of this moment -- COVID rule outs, etc., obviously could change things -- but don't want to skip the day entirely so we'll hit Rider over Quinnipiac in MAAC action. The Bobcats took a bit hit earlier this season when Savion Lewis was lost to a season-ending injury. They enter on a two-game skid, losing both on the road and by double digits. The Broncs came out of a long pause with an upset victory at Marist on Sunday. Rider is 7-0 all-time in Alumni Gym against Quinnipiac and 5-2 ATS in its past seven overall as a home favorite. But here's my favorite fact about tonight's game according to the Rider game notes: "Friday is National Logic Day. So bring a sharp mind as you test your knowledge against the Broncs throughout the game. Girl Scouts will sell cookies in the lobby." That's excellent.

ATLANTA @ MIAMI | 01/14 | 8:00 PM EST
MIAMI -4
ANALYSIS: These two teams just faced each other Wednesday in Atlanta. The Heat won that contest going away, 115-91. The Hawks are reeling right now after losing seven of their last nine games. Meanwhile, the Heat have won eight of their last 10 games and might even get back Jimmy Butler (ankle), who is listed as questionable. Even if he doesn’t play, I like the Heat to cover.

GOLDEN ST. @ CHICAGO | 01/14 | 7:30 PM EST
CHICAGO -4
ANALYSIS: After getting smoked by the Bucks on Thursday, the Warriors have a quick turnaround here in Chicago. Draymond Green (calf), Klay Thompson (rest) and Gary Payton II (back) have all been ruled out, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if Otto Porter Jr. and/or Andre Iguodala are ultimately rested, as well. The Bulls will be highly motivated to bounce back from their second-half disaster against the Nets on Wednesday, so they could roll to a lopsided victory.

VCU @ ST. BONA. | 01/14 | 7:30 PM EST
VCU +2
ANALYSIS: The Rams are rolling. They are 6-0 SU and ATS in their last six games including three road games. The Bonnies have looked terrible recently. They have failed to cover the spread in seven straight games and in five straight home games. The Rams have one of the best defenses in the country. Kenpom ranks them as the 3rd best defense in the country. Even with an average pace of play, they allow the sixth least PPG, sixth lowest field goal percentage, and the lowest three point percentage allowed in Division I. This elite defense will slow down the Bonnies and lead the Rams to a win in this matchup of the two best teams in the A10 Conference.
+90 2-1 IN LAST 3 CBB ATS PICKS
BUFFALO @ BALL ST. | 01/14 | 6:00 PM EST
UNDER 162
ANALYSIS: This number is really high. Even though both of these teams play with pace, the total shouldn’t be this high. The Bulls offense is significantly worse on the road. So even though the Under has only cashed in one their five home games, it has cashed in four of their six road games. The Cardinals defense is a lot better at home. This has allowed the Under to cash in four of their six home games. This number should be closer to 155. Take the Under in this MAC matchup.
