NC State has gone Over the total in five of its six games, and this game against Miami with great football weather looks like another. NC State averages a 34-32 score and allows 448 yards per game defensively. Miami QB D’Eriq King has been getting progressively better and more comfortable with each start. NC State has gone Over in its last five as an underdog. Just the Over.

This is a fantastic matchup, but I give the slight edge to the Cougars. BYU has an excellent QB in Zack Wilson, who is completing almost 75 percent of his passes. He has 19 TDs and just two INTs while leading his team to a 7-0 record. Boise State has played just two games and has uncertainty surrounding who is going to be the starting QB vs. a defense that is allowing just 13.4 points per contest. The Broncos have really struggled to stop the run, allowing 263 yards per game. BYU runs the football well and Wilson is a dual threat. The Cougars are 0-5 all-time at Boise State, but the oddsmakers have BYU as the favorite.

3% (313) BYU -3.5BYU has taken care of business all year but everyone has pointed out they haven’t played anyone. Yes their schedule has been soft due to losing games due to the pandemic but they can only play who is put in front of them. Because of that this is a major game of importance as this will be their toughest opponent and it’s on TV. Just like when they played Houston earlier this year I expect a very strong showing from them. Boise St has played well in their 2 games but let’s face it they played nobodies as well. BYU will use this game as their statement game solidifying them as a legit team. BYU 34-23. TAKE BYU as my 3% FRIDAY NIGHT BEST BET.

A solid matchup will take place tonight in the Mountain West as San Jose State travels to San Diego State. Both teams are off to a 2-0 start, but much is still unknown with San Diego State. The Aztecs faced two poor opponents to begin the season in UNLV and Utah State. That has downgraded their number ATS tonight against former SEC quarterback Nick Starkel of the Spartans. Jump on the price as the Aztecs showcase they are a well balanced team.
