ANALYSIS: This spread doesn’t make a lot of sense. The Big Red beat the Tigers by two at Princeton even though they were missing their leading scorer, Jordan Jones. The Tigers have covered just one of their last six games. The Big Red are amazing at home as they are 6-0 SU and ATS at home. With Jones back, the Big Red should be favorited against a team they have already defeated.

ANALYSIS: Always risky picking next-day NBA games this early, but the Cavs already have ruled out for Friday their best player in Darius Garland, while the Hornets should get Gordon Hayward back from protocols. He cleared them earlier this week but needed a few days to get his conditioning right. I expect this ML to rise with the Garland news and we'll just have to hope no key Hornets guys are ruled out Friday.

ANALYSIS: Siena looks to complete a perfect four-game homestand, while Rider has lost four of six overall. Siena coach Carmen Maciariello inserted senior Jayce Johnson into the team’s starting lineup at the beginning of the Saints’ homestand because of his rebounding and defense, and the results so far have been great. The Saints have won six straight in the series in Albany. Cal Poly transfer Colby Rogers is the top Siena player as the junior guard ranks 16th nationally in three-point field goal percentage (.440) and 54th in threes per game (2.75). Rogers also leads Siena and ranks 10th in the MAAC in scoring (14.4). We are going ML, but Rider has just one cover in its past five vs. teams with a winning record.

ANALYSIS: Both clubs have moderately disappointed as the Bonnies were picked to finish first in the A-10 and Spiders second, and neither is near the top. St. Bonaventure has won five straight in this series, but new season. As a team, Richmond ranks fourth in D-I in assist-to-turnover ratio at 1.63 and Jacob Gilyard leads D-I with 3.4 steals per game. The Bonnies have a tendency to turn the ball over (turnover margin of just 0.67 per game compared to Richmond's league-best 3.86) and they struggle from deep, hitting 31.8% (11th in A-10).

ANALYSIS: When I first looked at the NBA odds this morning, I wanted no part of the Spurs in the second of a back-to-back and after playing without Dejounte Murray, Jakob Poeltl and Doug McDermott in Thursday's blowout loss to Miami. I presumed they would all miss this game, but now they are probable. Not only that, but reserve big man Keita Bates-Diop will come out of protocols and Zach Collins will make his season and team debut. The 10th pick of the 2017 draft by Portland, Collins hasn’t played in an NBA game since getting 17 minutes for Portland vs. Brooklyn in the Orlando bubble on Aug. 13, 2020. Collins did look very good in four G-League games recently while preparing for his NBA return. The former Gonzaga star has talent but simply terrible injury luck.
