ANALYSIS: The Reds just announced Chase Anderson to start for them tomorrow so we will get this play in now. He hasn’t pitched in the Majors in a while. He has a 4.50 ERA in Triple A this season. However, this play is all about the Sunday Night Baseball curse. I might be off on the exact number, but I believe the team that plays on Sunday Night Baseball then has to travel has lost 8 straight games now. Miles Mikolas has been good overall, but he allowed 6 ER in 5 IP in his outing in Cincinnati this season. Take the Reds on the money line.

ANALYSIS: Dodgers manager Dave Roberts already said that Mookie Betts would get Monday off, so we'll hit the total now. Tony Gonsolin is more than capable of shutting out the weak-hitting Marlins. This really feels like a trap game for LA ahead of a big series at the Mets on Tuesday, though, so honestly Miami +215 might not be a terrible idea ... I just don't roll that way. Might do RL once I see lineups.

ANALYSIS: Jose Suarez has been pitching well lately, he has a 2.38 ERA in August. Frankie Montas has been very hit or miss, although he only allowed 2 ER in 6 IP against the Angels earlier this season. The Angels bullpen is ranked 5th in the league since the trade deadline and they get Ryan Tepera and Aaron Loup off the restricted list for this game. The Yankees bullpen is ranked 9th since the trade deadline but they are missing tons of key players on the IL including Clay Holmes, Scott Effross, and Aroldis Chapman. The Angels are 12-14 and 3-6 at home since the trade deadline while the Yankees are 8-16 and 4-9 on the road. This is much closer to 50-50.

ANALYSIS: Fading Brayan Bello in this spot. Bello is terrible. He has a 7.36 ERA and the Red Sox are 0-6 in his six appearances. The Red Sox have lost seven of their last 10 games and are all but eliminated from the playoffs. The Twins are coming off of a weekend sweep of the Giants. Twins starter Dylan Bundy has been great recently only allowing three runs over his last three starts. Take the Twins to win their fourth straight game.

ANALYSIS: Dylan Bundy is allowing a 38.2% hard-hit rate with a sparkling 2.68 ERA at home. Brayan Bello is still learning how to pitch at the big league level. His 7.36 ERA and 2.09 WHIP are red flags. He's allowing a 41.7% hard-hit rate and walks almost five batters per nine innings. The Twins are No. 10 (+30) in runs saved this season, while Boston is No. 16 (+12). Minnesota is 10-2 when playing on Mondays. I'm on the Twins.

Boston and Minnesota are on the outside of the playoff picture right now. Boston would need a miracle run to end the season to grab a spot, and Minnesota has their eyes on the AL Central as they are two games behind the first-place Guardians. The Red Sox problem is not the offense but its defense and pitching. Dylan Bundy is an average pitcher with not much strikeout power this year. Look for the Red Sox to get to him early for a few runs. Brayan Bello only has 22 innings of major league work and, in those innings, has shown nothing to prove he will not get beat up by the Twins. Look for a high-scoring game. Take the Over.
