ANALYSIS: The Indiana Hoosiers have really struggled on the road. They haven’t won a game outside the state of Indiana since January 21st, 2021. That game was in Iowa. The Hoosiers have had the Hawkeyes number. The Hoosiers are 6-2 SU and 7-1 ATS in their last eight meetings. This will be a battle of the Hoosiers elite defense against the Hawkeyes elite offense. I am expecting the Hoosiers defense to win this battle and lead them to their first road win in almost a year.

This game is going to be terrible to watch because of the slow pace and terrible offenses. I would be surprised if either team gets to 60 points in this game.

The Blue Raiders are a great home team as they are 4-0 SU and ATS in their home arena. On the other hand, the Owls are not a good road team. They are just 1-3 SU and ATS in true road games. The Blue Raiders should be favored by more in this matchup, especially on their home court. Lay the points.

ANALYSIS: I'm going with a pick that my model considers a lean, but I feel is a bit too valuable to ignore. I am pretty surprised that Eastern Illinois is only a 6.5 point underdog. The Panthers are 0-12 on the season against division one opponents. They are a bottom ten team in all of D1 and while they have covered in five of their twelve losses, this will likely not be one of them. Of their defeats, just twice has the final margin been single digits. Take the value fading one of the worst teams you can bet against.

ANALYSIS: Two of the best teams in the Horizon league face off here and the wrong team is favored. I have Oakland projected to win in my model by 2 points. They are the stronger team in this conference and have beaten the same opponents in stronger fashion. They should be able to win this on the road against a familiar opponent. It might not be a runaway game, but Oakland plus the points is a great value pick. Grab it while you can.

USA has two of the top seven scorers in the Sun Belt in Charles Manning (17.2 ppg) and Jay Jay Chandler (15.5 ppg). The Jaguars rank in the Top 3 of the Sun Belt in scoring defense (63.6 ppg), scoring offense (75.1), scoring margin (11.5), turnover margin (3.9), blocked shots per game (5.4 bpg) and turnovers forced (16.73). My only real worry here would be COVID issues, but otherwise South Alabama should win.

It should be third-string Sam Montembeault in net for the Habs, and he's an ugly 1-6-0 with a 3.98 GAA. Hawks netminder Marc-Andre Fleury shut out Montreal a few weeks ago for his 500th career win.

New Jersey has a handful of other guys out, too, while the Islanders are very healthy other than Coach Barry Trotz in protocols.

At full health, the Jets are the better team, but they are far from that right now due to injury/COVID. Winnipeg is 2-5 in its past seven vs. teams with a losing record. The Jets are a .500 road team, while the Wings are seven games over .500 at home.

ANALYSIS: I pretty much agree with everything Max Gorenstein said here -- the Blue Raiders probably should be bigger favorites (at least -5 instead of -3.5) but I'm not messing with the spread regardless as FAU isn't a bad team at all. Plus, there could always be the surprise COVID factor. Middle Tennessee is one of those full-court pressure teams and it has led to 133 steals and 252 forced turnovers through the team's first 15 games. Pressure defense always works better at home, where MT is unbeaten -- it's why West Virginia is nearly impossible to beat in Morgantown.

ANALYSIS: Thought I posted this earlier but it didn't show up so I'm sure it was user error -- unfortunately, the ML moved from -160 to -170 in that time, although I doubt it matters as every model has Youngstown State winning despite entering on a two-game skid. Northern Kentucky is 0-5 on the road and has lost each by at least nine points and may have some COVID issues with its past three games postponed/canceled. These clubs are about the same regarding scoring defense but YSU is better offensively and is 8-2 this year when scoring at least 70. NKU has allowed a minimum of 70 points in three of its past four.
