5* SEC Main Event
Arkansas +2
Arkansas on an eight-game win streak gets #1 ranked Auburn at home, Bud Walton Arena. Auburn has one loss on the season, but their last two road conference games have been decided by 2 or fewer points. Those games were against Missouri and Georgia. Arkansas smashed those two teams. The Razorbacks' defense caught fire on the road against LSU and has not stopped.
Like the upset here, but take Arkansas plus the points.

5* Marquette +6
This is WAYYYY too many points here for maybe the hottest team in the country! Marquette is coming in winners of 4 out of 5 against some really quality teams including Villanova twice and Seton Hall. Meanwhile, UConn has really shown they are a beatable team coming in losing 2 in a row to Creighton and the same Villanova team that Marquette beat twice. I see a very close game with Marquette maybe even WINNING this game, but we will take the points to be safe!

TCU -3
The NCAAB Power Play is on TCU. Game 622 at 7:00 eastern. The Horned Frogs were upset here as a favorite in their last game losing by 12 to Kansas St. Now they host an Oklahoma St team that was able to get back to .500 with a home win over Oklahoma. That win and the TCU Home loss Sets up the Frogs in a Powerful Bounce back conference system. TCU has revenge on the Cowboys for a 1 point loss on the road back in January. TCU is ranked 29th in total defense which is much better than OK.ST who has dropped 5 of 6 as a road dog this year and has lost the last 4 here at TCU. We also note the Cowboys are 1-5 ats off a win and have failed to cover 9 of 12 vs .600 or better opposition. Look for the Horned Frogs to get it done tonight.

VEGAS @ EDMONTON | 02/08 | 9:00 PM EST
EDMONTON -115
ANALYSIS: Vegas played four road games, then one at home, and now hits the road again. Not an ideal spot for NHL teams. The Oilers already have defeated the Golden Knights twice this season, when Vegas was much healthier on the blue line. Edmonton is ranked seventh in faceoff winning percentage, while Vegas is No. 26. I like the home team to get the win.

UNDER 128.5
ANALYSIS: The Falcons are a great Under team. Kenpom ranks them in the bottom 15 teams in terms of pace, bottom 50 offensively, and in the top 40 percent of defenses. The Under has cashed in all eight of Falcons true road games with these games averaging just 117.3 PPG. The Under has also cashed in four of the Rebels last five games. This number is too high for this game. Take the under here.
MARQUETTE @ CONNECTICUT | 02/08 | 6:30 PM EST
MARQUETTE +6.5
ANALYSIS: The Golden Eagles are rolling. They are 8-1 SU and 9-0 ATS in their last nine games, including 5-0 SU and ATS on the road. The Huskies are coming off of two straight losses to Villanova and Creighton. This is too many points for the Huskies to be laying to such a good team. I am expecting the Golden Eagles to keep this game close and cover this spread.

BOSTON @ BROOKLYN | 02/08 | 7:30 PM EST
BOSTON -6
ANALYSIS: The Nets are a mess right now. They have lost eight straight games with each of their last four losses coming by at least 10 points. Kyrie Irving will be out with this game being played in Brooklyn, and James Harden (hamstring) is questionable after missing two straight games. Even if he plays, he might not be completely healthy. The Celtics have no injury issues heading into this matchup, so I think they continue the Nets' recent slump.
ORLANDO @ PORTLAND | 02/08 | 10:00 PM EST
ORLANDO -1
ANALYSIS: The Trail Blazers continued to dismantle their team Tuesday morning when they dealt C.J. McCollum, Larry Nance Jr. and Tony Snell to the Pelicans. They received a couple of intriguing young players in Josh Hart and Nickeil-Alexander Walker in the deal, but neither will be available for this game. As bad as the Magic have been, they should be able to take advantage of Portland’s lack of depth.

ANALYSIS: This is already starting to move up so we'll jump now. I'd feel better knowing if James Harden and Nic Claxton were playing (maybe oddsmakers know about Harden; hence the move) for the Nets, but without Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and LaMarcus Aldridge against a fully healthy and surging Celtics side, it probably shouldn't matter.

MINNESOTA @ SACRAMENTO | 02/08 | 10:00 PM EST
MINNESOTA -201
ANALYSIS: I really had no plans to play this game at least at this number with the Wolves listing D'Angelo Russell and Patrick Beverley as questionable, but the Kings just traded Tyrese Haliburton, Buddy Hield and Tristan Thompson to Indiana so they will be pretty thin -- De'Aaron Fox is listed as a game-time call as is Marvin Bagley. I'd guess this ML/spread rises a bit now.
+1606 30-10 IN LAST 40 NBA ML PICKS
CAROLINA @ OTTAWA | 02/08 | 7:00 PM EST
OTTAWA +1.5
ANALYSIS: Ottawa has been quite competitive of late and has the advantage of being in a home/home back-to-back compared to Carolina playing the second of a road/road after a tough overtime loss in Toronto on Monday. Could be a bit of a letdown game for the Canes off that one. Two top Carolina forwards, Jesperi Kotkaniemi (protocols) and Teuvo Teravainen (lower body), didn't play Monday and neither is expected to in this one. Sens at -125 on the puckline as both games between these teams this season have ended 3-2.
MINNESOTA @ WINNIPEG | 02/08 | 8:00 PM EST
MINNESOTA -154
ANALYSIS: Winnipeg is pretty solid at home but lost two key players -- forward Pierre-Luc Dubois (33 points) and defenseman Neal Pionk (18 points) -- to protocols on Monday. A couple of other key guys are on injured reserve, so we'll back the healthy Wild, who are 14-7-2 on the road.
PITTSBURGH @ BOSTON | 02/08 | 7:00 PM EST
BOSTON -130
ANALYSIS: Clearly, this could go either way, but the Bruins are about as healthy as they have been in a while with winger Nick Foligno and center Eric Haula back from injury/COVID. The Pens are without Evgeni Malkin (13 points in 12 games), and Tristan Jarry allowed four goals in each of his final two starts before the break -- and he didn't really get any rest playing in the All-Star Game. Pittsburgh entered the break on a four-game skid and it rarely wins in Boston (2-15 past 17).

OHIO @ TOLEDO | 02/08 | 7:00 PM EST
TOLEDO -140
ANALYSIS: The Rockets spanked Ohio in Athens by 18 on Jan. 21 -- the Bobcats' only loss in a span of 15 games. I absolutely expect this one to be much closer, but Toledo is simply the better team. The Rockets, who lead the MAC in shooting percentage and defensive shooting percentage, fell out of first place in the MAC with Friday’s loss to Ball State but that was a bit of a trap game. The defeat prevented UT from matching the best start to a conference season in program history. And, hey, there are free T-shirts for the first 300 students for this White Out Game! The Rockets have won 12 straight at home.

ILLINOIS @ PURDUE | 02/08 | 9:00 PM EST
ILLINOIS +5.5
ANALYSIS: The last time these teams met, Purdue won a double-overtime thriller at Illinois. I like the revenge factor for the Fighting Illini, getting two full possessions worth of points. In the last game, Purdue put Illinois big man Kofi Cockburn in foul trouble. He played just 22 minutes with 10 points and five rebounds. Cockburn will be eager to prove he can take on Boilermakers big man Zach Edey this time around and have a bounce-back game. Purdue has failed to cover the spread in each of its last two home games.

FORDHAM @ ST. BONA. | 02/08 | 7:00 PM EST
FORDHAM +12.5
ANALYSIS: The Bonnies are a solid 7-2 at home this year but 2-7 against the spread in those games to go along with a season-long record of 5-14 ATS. Meanwhile Fordham has covered 7 of their last 10 games and are beating the spread at a 66% clip as underdogs this year. My model says Fordham keeps it closer than 12 points and is projecting Bonnies to win by 8. Take the value with the road dog.

CBB/NHL Best Bet Triple Play
4% Lipscomb-Liberty under 145.5 (#306122)
Had a winner last night with our only total play and maybe we will just play these totals as sides have not been good lately. However that is not how we do things and it is all about numbers. Had this at 136 ½ almost making that 5% play. It is getting bet up so small contrarian as well.
4% Arkansas +2 (#624)
There are a couple things to like with Arkansas here. 15-1 at home and Auburn just won on the road and plays their second road game here in this really tough venue. Auburn has really struggled on the road winning by 2 as 16 point favorites at Georgia and by 1 at Missouri as 12 ½ point favs. Even though they have not lost on the road they have been up for the loss. Arkansas will make that happen. The situation is bad for Auburn second road and good for Arkansas being at home. We are in February and Number 1 teams get beat all the time it happens again tonight.
4% Vegas Golden Knights -115 (#15)
We actually could have had this at Even money last night and made a mistake thinking that Edmonton money would stay in this one. Edmonton has beat Vegas twice this year and that is why we thought it would stay. Vegas has played really well on the road going 8-2 last 10. Just have not bought into Edmonton all year, even though they have went 5-1 L/6. Vegas is a big step up in competition and now they have a full club. Mike Smith confirmed starter and that is why all the sharp money came in on Vegas. As our all access clients know we do not like to be with the “sharp side” but we really like Vegas in this one to get some revenge from earlier in the year.
