KENT ST. @ C. MICHIGAN | 11/10 | 8:00 PM EST
C. MICHIGAN -2.5
ANALYSIS: This should be a wildly entertaining offensive game -- hence the total of 75. I have to take the Chips simply as Kent State's defense is wretched and the Flashes are 1-4 on the road. CMU has one home loss and that was by a point. Chips junior Kalil Pimpleton could be the difference as not only is he an excellent receiver but the best punt returner in the nation; he had two returned for scores last week and leads the country in punt return average with a mark of 20.3 yards per. Kent State is 0-5 ATS in its past five as a dog.
DETROIT @ HOUSTON | 11/10 | 7:30 PM EST
HOUSTON -124
ANALYSIS: Assuming they both play, and I have no reason to think they won't, it's the first matchup in the NBA of the top two draft picks this year in No. 1 Cade Cunningham of Detroit and No. 2 Jalen Green of Houston -- Green has been much better so far. I'm simply taking the Rockets being at home in a matchup of horrible clubs (it's on ESPN because of the rookies). The Pistons haven't come close to an away win yet.
TORONTO @ PHILADELPHIA | 11/10 | 7:30 PM EST
UNDER 6
ANALYSIS: Leafs goaltender Jack Campbell has a 2.09 GAA this season and that number is 1.75 this month. Flyers counterpart Carter Hart has a 1.98 GAA at home. Toronto star John Tavares is a game-time decision with an injury. I am monitoring that and if he's out will come back on the Flyers moneyline -- I might anyways. The Under is 6-1 in the Maple Leafs' past seven road games.
INDIANA @ DENVER | 11/10 | 9:00 PM EST
INDIANA -144
ANALYSIS: I believe this number will only go up today with Denver sans reigning MVP Nikola Jokic due to a one-game suspension -- plus Michael Porter is out injured. Indiana is the type of inconsistent team that could still lose this game ... but it really shouldn't (I'm not giving 3 points). The big Pacers frontcourt of Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner should have its way with the Nuggets sans Jokic.
MILWAUKEE @ NEW YORK | 11/10 | 7:30 PM EST
NEW YORK -135
ANALYSIS: It can obviously be risky betting an NBA game this early on the lookahead line but also can be rewarding. I like the Knicks at this number because the Bucks will be playing the second of a back-to-back and very possibly could rest either Jrue Holiday (the more likely one) or Giannis Antetokounmpo -- and then the line would rise. Neither Khris Middleton nor Brook Lopez will be back from injury. New York won in Milwaukee 113-98 on Nov. 5.

TORONTO @ PHILADELPHIA | 11/10 | 7:30 PM EST
PHILADELPHIA +110
ANALYSIS: The Maple Leafs are 1-3-0 on the road this season and John Tavares is a game time decision. Jack Campbell has been very good but so has Carter Hart to start the season. The Flyers are 6-2-2 overall and 3-1-1 at home this season. These teams didn’t see each other last season so there isn’t a ton of matchup history here, but the Flyers have won 5 of the last 6 games between these teams in Philly. I think the wrong team is favored, so I am riding the home dog tonight.

20-11 NBA Season
TORONTO @ BOSTON | 11/10 | 7:30 PM EST
TORONTO +2
ANALYSIS: The Celtics are 0-3 ATS at home and will have to play without Jaylen Brown (hamstring), who will miss his second straight game. Meanwhile, the Raptors are 4-0 ATS on the road. They were underdogs in each contest, yet they won each game outright. Add in Pascal Siakam returning and they have a favorable chance of winning this game as well.
MILWAUKEE @ NEW YORK | 11/10 | 7:30 PM EST
NEW YORK -4
ANALYSIS: This is a tough spot for the Bucks, who have injury issues and will be playing the second game of a back-to-back set. Jrue Holiday has battled an ankle injury that previously forced him to miss five straight games, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him sit this out. This would be his third game in the last four days. The Knicks could be thin at center with Mitchell Robinson (hip) and Nerlens Noel (knee) listed as questionable. But with a deeper overall roster and home-court advantage, take them to cover.

MILWAUKEE @ NEW YORK | 11/10 | 7:30 PM EST
NEW YORK -4
ANALYSIS: The Bucks come off a win Tuesday, but it came against a short-handed Sixers club. Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez are still out for the Bucks and they were playing poorly even before they got sick. The Knicks beat the Bucks in Milwaukee 113-98 five days ago. The Bucks are 2-5 SU and ATS in their last seven. Take the rested Knicks to cover.
PORTLAND @ PHOENIX | 11/10 | 9:00 PM EST
PHOENIX -5
ANALYSIS: The Blazers lost 117-109 on Tuesday to the Clippers, which makes them 0-5 SU and ATS on the road. The road exposes their weak bench more than at home. The Suns have gone full-throttle after a shaky start. They’ve won five straight and covered their last four. Everyone is involved and contributing. Take the rested Suns to cover.

INDIANA @ DENVER | 11/10 | 9:00 PM EST
INDIANA -3
ANALYSIS: The Denver Nuggets will be without star Nikola Jokic as he will serve a one-game suspension. They’ll take on an Indiana Pacers team coming off their first road win of the season against the Sacramento Kings. The win marked their fourth straight cover, as the Pacers appear to be finding their groove. Take Indiana.
DETROIT @ HOUSTON | 11/10 | 7:30 PM EST
HOUSTON -3
ANALYSIS: The Houston Rockets and Detroit Pistons both have just one win on the year. The Rockets have shown flashes of talent with Christian Wood, Kevin Porter Jr, and top pick Jalen Green. Enduring seven road games out of their first 10 would be tough for any team. Expect being at home to pay dividends against the lowly Pistons.

NORTHWESTERN ST. @ TULSA | 11/10 | 8:00 PM EST
UNDER 144.5
ANALYSIS: This total is coming down pretty quickly -- it was at 145.5 only an hour ago as of writing, but I still like it at 144.5 as I make this number 141 points. I would imagine that it keeps coming down as some books have 143.5 already. Don't bet lower than 144.
GARDNER-WEBB @ UNLV | 11/10 | 10:00 PM EST
GARDNER-WEBB +10.5
ANALYSIS: My analysis puts the spread closer to 7.5, and three points is a whole bucket (from deep anyway), so we'll grab the edge and play for this one to stay inside double digits in the UNLV head coaching debut of former assistant Kevin Kruger.
NORTH FLORIDA @ TEXAS A&M | 11/10 | 8:00 PM EST
NORTH FLORIDA +16
ANALYSIS: North Florida covered Tuesday against Texas Tech in an 89-74 loss, and I have the Ospreys in line to cover again here against A&M. I make the line at +13, which means I wouldn't play any lower than +16. Thus, take the points now in case it falls.
BUFFALO @ MICHIGAN | 11/10 | 6:30 PM EST
MICHIGAN -12.5
ANALYSIS: The market has come down on this game since it opened at 18.5. My numbers indicate this movement is a bit too big and that we'd be wise to take it here. I make Michigan a 16-point favorite, so take the 3.5-point edge on Juwan Howard's Big Ten powerhouse.
